My husband travels frequently to Corpus Christi for business, he always stays here and this is the first time I've been able to accompany him. The hotel is located very nicely between the more popular beach areas and downtown. The room we had featured a king size bed, separate dressing/bathroom areas, and a balcony. Also, fridge and microwave. The decor... More

I have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. The main high rise gives a great view of the rising sun. The rooms are a little dated but clean. Try staying in the Cabanas down stairs away from the main building. If you have a dog, this is the perfect place to stay. Walk out the sliding glass... More

Hotel is older, however, everything about this hotel out weighs this. The front desk staff is very friendly. The restaurant has good quality food. Room was clean, view was great. Room Svc was very good. The Beach Bar and pool area are awesome. The band they had this summer on the weekends outside at the beach bar were terriffic! The... More

Over the past seven years I have been, on and off, to the Corpus Christi area for work. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn on Shoreline, the Omni just up the road, and two of the hotels found in Portland TX. The Holiday Inn is great if you want to be on the beach (which isn't much to talk... More

I stayed here on a five day business trip in November. Checking in was quick and courteous, the front desk staff was plenty helpful. Once you make your way from the lobby, it's evident that the hotel is pretty dated, it feels early 1980's-ish - from the elevators, to the hotel restaurant, to the hallways. The room was clean and... If you want a low budget experience, this is the place for you. The hallway walls on all floors are painted emeral green and definately wake you up upon leaving your room. It appears the window wash has been fired, since all the windows are in dire need of cleaning. Staffing is at the bare mimimum to run the hotel.... More

As I write this I am still here in my room. Here for 5 nights. This hotel is on the water...Looks good from the road but not all rooms are equal. This hotel has been here since the early 70's. Renovations have been made to compensate this aging property. While some will have glorious views of the Bay and downtown... More

Room was large with great views over the bay. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately everything in the room, with the exception of TV, looked like it had been there at least 40 years. The furniture was very dated and the lampshades looked like they'd been kicked round the room a few times. The bathroom was large but nothing special. More

This is a great beach front hotel that has its own beach complete with jet skis, chairs, umbrellas, etc for rent. Has seasonal outdoor bar as well. Has indoor swimming pool and games complex. Great for families or business. Have stayed several times and never disappointed. More

Right on the beach of Corpus Christi Bay, great views, well tended small beach area, and an outdoor deck bar over the water. Rooms vary as to the location in the hotel, stay away from the south tower, low ceilings , poor water pressure on upper floors, outdated worn furnishings, and a very dark parking lot by that entrance. Nice indoor... More
