Checked in and clerk was nice. Went to room only to find we were put in a smoking room and are non smokers. They changed our room from 235 to 125. We have stayed at the OUTDATED, OVERUSED, OVERPRICED Holiday Inn Sunspree on the island, The Comfort Suites, Red Roof Inn and LaQuinta all on SPID. By far this is the better place. this was our 2nd visit to Corpus Christi and we stayed at the Days Inn Corpus Christi South. We were so thrilled that not only all theirs rooms are new, spacious, and well decorated, the Service was great! Everyone was very helpful and they had great breakfast buffet.
