NOT A FAMILY HOTEL!!! Very bad experience. I was on vacation with my kids and on our first night the hotel had an event going on outside with RIDICULOSLY loud music. It was impossible to think, let alone sleep. They didn't care in the least. No amount of complaining got them to do anything. Will never go there again. What... More

I stayed at the hotel for a convention in the hotel during the week of the cherry blossoms. It's an amazing location with a beautiful view over the Potomac river. Lobby is very bright and huge; plenty of sofas to relax. I really liked gentlemen dressed in colonial attire greeting you at the entrance (quite a nice touch). Glass ceiling... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Gaylord National Harbor for a convention. We loved that our room had a little balcony overlooking the atrium which was bright and airy. The room itself was nice and clean. However, I thought that the bed was a little uncomfortable as it somehow sagged a bit on one side. The staff were... More

This past January was my third stay at the Gaylord, as I've been coming here ever since MAGFest moved there from Virginia. My friends came from all over the world to spend the week with me, and while the room is pricey, it's always well worth the company I get. The beds are very comfy, the view (no matter where... More

We stayed at the Gaylord for our daughters volleyball tournament and found this hotel to be excellent. The rooms with balconies are great offering comfort and excellent views of the Potomac. The town center around the hotel is awesome with shops, bars and restaurants to meet any needs. and the location is close to DC, Old Town Alexandria and Mount... More

This hotel has a lot of amenities and is very nice but I probably would not go back. Average room with view of a roof and wall that was pretty much just for sleeping. Very slow wireless didn't help. Good restaurants and friendly staff. Non-stop SuperShuttle to/from Reagan National for $18 ea way.

The Gaylord is a very nice hotel and convention center. I was there for a conference and it was very nice. It sits right on the harbor and overlooks the Potomac. While there are a few restaurants and shops near, everything else is a bit far. Overall it was an ok place. The staff was nice and helpful and the... More

I recently stayed (comped room) for a volleyball tournament. Easily the finest venue we have ever been in, especially since the walk from the room to the courts was 5 minutes. Check in line was huge with all the incoming teams but moved extremely fast since they had the staff to accommodate the large crowd. Employees were over the top... More

We stayed here recently and it was horrible except for the rooms. We picked this hotel because it has a fountain that dances to music every hour on the hour. We couldn't wait to see it. The front desk said after we checked in that it wouldn't be on because of a wedding and because there was maintenance the next... More

Arrived early in the morning and told that we would not have a room for a couple hours so my husband and I decided to go out to DC for some sightseeing. We returned to the hotel 5 hours later and our room was still not ready. When we finally got a call that our room was ready, we were... More
