If your looking for a sensible and smart addition to your game day experience prior to attending a University of Utah football game at Rice Eccles Stadium, may I suggest that you check out the tailgate party offered at the Marriott hotel located in Research Park just south of the University campus. This marks my third year participating in the... More

* Beautifully renovated about 6 months ago. * Gorgeous rooms with an earthy cozy feel. Small but mighty with an excellent space-saver design * Extremely comfortable beds. Fell right to sleep and woke up rested and ready for the day. * Friendly service in general * Chef Bryan makes amazing omelettes! Definitely kicked up a notch from regular Marriott breakfasts.... Stayed here over a weekend in June. While the rooms were clean they staff couldn't supply us with enough bathroom linens. We have for in our room and were repeatedly only given enough towels and wash cloths for 2. We could catch the maid who would have to give us extra hand towels as they didn't have enough other linens.... More

We stayed at the Marriott for the convenience of close to University of Utah, our son is a student. We had a package deal with 2 breakfast voucher, a $50 meal voucher and chocolate strawberries and champagne the first night. Everything was perfect from our hotel room to our service in the lounge. Our bartender Chad was very attentive the... More

Nice class hotel. If you don't mind paying big bucks. And no in room coffee maker. Nothing like bathrobe, flip flops, parading through the lobby looking for the morning jo. And no in room wifi... dude!!! Free wifi and coffee would make the big bucks worth it. Nice bar for that evening cocktail Utah style of course.

Loved staying here - The location is great if you have a child at the university or are attending a function there. The decor is lovely (an incredible huge Chihuly hangs in the lobby) the rooms are clean and quiet. Beds are comfy. We opted for a great breakfast down the street at The Corner Bakery - which is a... Got a go deal on this hotel. It's nice clean & safe. They have a shuttle bus that will take you with-in 2 miles of the hotel. You can get close to the downtown area. The only down side was I called several days early and asked to be put into a King sized bed and told them it was... More

Attended a conference at the university, and this is the hotel we stayed at. Also, our conference held it's banquet here. Really liked the hotel. Very modern with interesting architecture. Room was up to date, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a coffee shop in the lobby level, which was nice. The banquet food was very... More

Stayed at this property on business. All employees interacted with we're enthusiastic, friendly, and solicitous of my needs. Room on 7th floor was ample, comfortable and inviting. This hotel is centrally located to eateries especially downtown. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, an inviting lounge with comfortable couches and two pool tables. There is also a small sundry shop... More

We stayed in this hotel only one night as we were on our way from Las Vegas to Jackson, Wyoming. The hotel is in the research area of University Park. It isn't near the downtown or any restaurants. They do have a lounge/bar that is open until 11:30, which is nice. The rooms were okay. The room that we stayed... More
