Came into town a little late and stayed at the Marriott. Good choice in hotels, but didn't get the full experience since I came in late. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The town looked interesting and perhaps I will have the opportunity to stay longer next time. Good hotel.

In town for convention. Not only is this hotel in a beautiful mountain view setting, it is also next door to U of U. The staff has been absolutely wonderful. They have made my stay very comfortable. Have been over the top accommodating - Now, I am a Marriott rewards member but only basic level. Great place to stay and... More

It's not a new hotel, but like most Marriott's I've stayed at, it was a good experience. I loved seeing the blown glass masterpiece suspended in the hotel by the famous artist Chihuly. The hotel is a blend of elegance and industrial. It all seemed updated to me. We didn't use the pool, or have the breakfast, but we did... More

This is a nice hotel with million dollar views. The rooms were very well appointed with comfy beds and all the necessary amenities. I had a major issue with a direct bill to company that the hotel eventually fixed- they billed my personal card (thanks Denise). Upon checkin, the night staff were unwelcoming, impolite, and inexperienced. Plus, there was an... More

Stayed for a night during a winter cross-country road trip. Comfortable room, convenient location. Nice hotel overall with free parking. Friendly staff. Only drawbacks are: no free wifi in room, very squeally refrigerator. Would stay again.

The staff was the winning feature of the hotel. Friendly, helpful even when asked stupid questions, and always smiling. This includes front desk and restaurant staff, as well as the Starbuck's staff. I did not go to the bar and did not see any housekeepers. Room was attractive, comfortable, clean and a great view. The food in the restuarant was... More

We stayed for one night here and I was very impressed overall given what I paid for the room and the quality of the room and the food. The only downside was a slow drain in the shower but when I called about it, they sent a repairman who discovered a marble had fallen down the drain and was clogging... More

As per several other reviews this hotel does not look so inviting but it really does represent good value and after a grueling indirect journey a well run hotel. Reception staff really helpful and keen to assist , room a good size, quiet and very comfortable . Mountain views out front at sunrise really were stunning, I didn't eat there... More

My husband had to attend a conference @ the university so I joined him for a mini vaca. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is done beautifully & the staff is fanstastic. Room was very clean with comfy bedding & a nice bathroom, incredible view, etc. The breakfast buffet on the weekends is reasonably... More

This was one of the most agreeable hotel stays I have ever experienced. The property is up in the foothills, above the city traffic and with great mountain views. Free parking. Beautiful lobby and public spaces as well as a well-appointed, clean, quiet and comfortable room. If they have been recently doing renovations as mentioned by other reviewers, then they... More
