Booked on the phone. This is one scary, cold hostel. The staff for the most part is rude, hostile. My room was freezing, the kitchen was filthy, the evening desk person was downright unhelpful. I did not actually stay at the Avenues but my experience with them is as follows. I made reservations to stay there but due to a change in my plans I was forced to cancel.
