If reading the other reviews hasn't turned you off yet, then here's one more warning. Don't stay here. It's dirty and looks like no one has cared for it for 10 years. Breakfast is a joke, garbages overflowing everywhere. No alarm clock, gross shower and washroom, hooks falling out of the wall, did I mention it's dirty? We've stayed in... More

We were unfortunate enough to stay at this "hotel" in the beginning of August. Most other hotels in SLC were booked due to a big convention. We actually have had mostly good experiencies with other Super 8 motels, but this one is a big joke! Rude staff, disgusting and smelly room with dirty windows situated half a flight below the... My wife and I stopped here on our way to California - I picked the Super 8 because I'd had many good experiences with them in the past. This time our baby found trash under the bed, the showerhead wasn't working properly and there were cigarette burns in the blanket. The next morning we went down to the breakfast area.... More

Location is perfect, just a few blocks south from Temple Square. Easy to find (once you've understood the street numbering math!), especially when coming from the airport. But the whole hotel smells smoke and does not look very clean. Rooms are okay - Super 8 standard - but they could be cleaner. Breakfast is very standard. Staff is rather friendly... More

I've never stayed in the worse hotel than this one. It smells and it is dirty. There is no coffee maker in the room; the one in the lobby is not working. Towels can be used as a sand-paper. The blanket looks as a dirty rag. The breakfast is a joke. Any campground with no amenities will beat this hotel... More

This motel is actually in downtown SLC, near Temple Square, the Delta Center, and surrounded by other big name hotels. But at night the streets are vacant and most of the action takes place at a nearby Denny's or two neighboring filling stations. Stay here only if you are traveling on dimes or every other room is taken. For me,... More

not up to the usual Motel 8 standards. Room was clean but not great. Front desk staff were okay once you got their attention -usually on the computer in the back office. Certainly not worth the money I paid to stay here -wouldn't stay again.

This hotel gives the Super 8 chain a reall bad name. On our way to Utah we stayed at a Super 8 in Butte, MT that was quite nice, not a problem. Then we stayed in this Super 8 is Salt Lake City. Our room was awful. It smelled and the carpet was the worst you could imagine. There were... More

This hotel is truly awful. The room, literally, had blood stains on the carpet, and a bunch of other stains as well. I had to either keep my shoes on in the room or create a pathway of towels. The lobby (if you can call it that) smells of disinfectant. There is no alarm clock, and the hair dryer has... More

This was one of the most disgusting hotels I have stayed at in my life. The carpets were thin and dirty with huge stains all over them. I refused to walk on it barefoot. The plastic shower was cracking and had stain all over it. The bathroom was tiny as were the towels. I couldn't wrap it all the way... More
