Hotel is shabby in lobby and elevators. Glass elevator has been out of service since last visit in August. Rooms are clean . Walking distance to Morman Temple, restaurants and shopping. The hotel is a good value though outdated. more

The front door is directly across the street from the Salt Palace convention center. Very nice to just walk across the street. Room was nice and average with a refrigerator and microwave. Televisions are outdated. Free wifi throughout the building . Numerous complaints about the front desk staff. elevators sloooow. Free breakfast got lots of complements and breakfast staff very... more

This hotel is absolutely revolting.....not only is it outdated but the staff is horrible as well. I had an issue and spoke with the front desk "supervisor" Savannah. This GIRL looked like she was 12 and she had about as much customer service and managerial skills as a rock. She was very unhelpful and acted as though I was putting... more

We stayed here for 1 night after experiencing the Shilo inn at Twin Falls. While we didnt find it quite as good, it was still nice. Our room was a good size, bathroom was fine and we could see our car from our room which quite good. Close to the sights we were interested in and esy to find. Nice... more

The front desk and housekeeping staff were Utah friendly, but they just couldn't make up for the declining nature of this hotel. The first problem you'll notice is that there are only two elevators to serve 200 rooms on 12 floors. To make things worse, there is no service elevator, so your most frequent companions all day long will be... more

I don't believe I ever wrote a thank-you note to the hotel. But this time I did. And this is what I just left in the feedback form at their website: "Your SLC hotel is awesome! Our family travels a lot around the world, so I can compare. You have many attributes of 4-star hotel at 3-star price. 24hr(!) pool/sauna/jacuzzi... more

I had a mexican worker (male) walk in on me while I was getting dressed. There was a knock on the door and I asked who is it. A Mexican worker opened the door and saw me. I was scared to death. He turned around and left. I went to the assisant manager(Rick Montoya) and told him what had happened... more

I stayed for 2 days at the Shilo Inn during a conference. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful when I had to ask for help with directions to get around town. The room was clean and comfortable. The free parking and the free breakfast were nice as well. The only problem I had was with the shower. The... more
