I am a huge fan of the Hilton chain because they are consistent between hotels. However, the Salt Lake City Center experience was a dismal one. There were multiple problems -- all brought to the attention of staff -- that were not taken care of. To begin with, the front staff was not at all up to snuff of the... more

Had a very nice stay at the Hilton. Nice room. Great location. Enjoyed a nice steak at Spencers. Lots of night life near by. I parked for free on the street. Booked through Priceline 55 bucks a night. more

I came with a friend on business. He had booked the room through Hotwire, on what we thought was a great deal for a 4-star hotel. But, if this was one of the best hotels in SLC, I am afraid to see the others. Positives: the location was great, close to everything ("THE" mall!); gym was really nice with a... more

I stayed here whilst in town for the weekend as I had a meeting in SLC on the Monday. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was very good. They also serve Starbucks Coffee which is a plus. The bad points.... well the room that I had looked a little tired, the gym facilities were bad and the pool... more

Just returned from 4 nights at this lovely hotel. Great staff, great food. Loved the fact that we could walk to the Jazz game. There is an Olive Garden right next store - which happens to be one of my favorites! My only complaints are that they charged me for a mini-fridge which I didn't use and we didn't have... more

Great downtown location if that is what you are looking for. I thought it would be closer to the ski resorts. I traveled with a group and booked my lodging in advance under the group name but was charged a regular rate upon my departure. I had to speak with three people at the front desk before someone would change... more

Centrally located so easy to get to the many surrounding ski resorts. Hotel parking was $13 a day so we parked on the street. Free from 6pm to 8am. Pool and hot tub were not very clean but nice to have. Room was spacious but not much hot air from the heater. Otherwise, nice. Several restaurants within walking distance. If... more

For a 4 star hotel, the room was not up to standard. The heater had no hot air coming out of it. The room had a funky smell. Found a hair in one of my towels. The drain in the tub was slow and water would not go down. No free internet, parking, or breakfast. Other than that, the service,... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center for a weekend getaway. The good: Clean room, staff was friendly, great pool and spa area, nice bed and pillows. Convenient location to local attractions such as Energy Solutions Arena, Trax, Temple Square, Restaurants, Salt Palace, Downtown business buildings. The Not So Good: Bathtub backed up, we were... more

Great location, clean modern room in perfect condition. Staff service was excellent. We spent 2 nights and would stay there again on my next visit. They had a great pool and excercise area along with a deck for getting some sun. more
