Located in an old and historic building, the Peery is full of character. The lobby is vast and you feel like you've been taken back in time. We were only here overnight as a stop on a long road trip. Check in was easy and our rooms were small, yet very comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It... More

The staff is great and they offer a very low rate for local hospital patients. The hotel is very old. The elevator has a sign: "Two people at a time!" Pretty dismal but the bed was OK. For the one night I stayed it was adequate. There is no parking unless you go to the pay lot. The free breakfast... More

Terrible hotel, got selected on priceline. Very rude staff, everything costs extra, internet parking etc. No pool, no hottub. This place is a dump. I tried to get a refund before even checking in they refused, they use priceline and others to get business and screw you

This is a perfectly serviceable older hotel that is very centrally located and reasonably priced. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very gracious and accommodating. There was something about the hotel that felt a bit dreary...it's hard to put my finger on why, but for one night's stay- totally fine. I was bummed that... More

Very nice historic hotel directly at downtown. Small but nice room. Probably would need to be a bit renovated, especially the bathrooms. But given the price I think is a very good option when staying in Salt Lake City. Just two cons: the hotel hall smells a bit bad, dunno why, breakfast is terrible. I only had cereals and milk... I quite enjoyed me stay at the Peery. I liked the historical decor and set up of my room and the main lobby. The exterior of the hotel looks run down. I wish they would do more to make it aesthetically pleasing from the outside. Staff were kind and efficient. Breakfast in the morning left me wanting severely. The breakfast/dining... More

This place is haunted. My dog who is super friendly happy loves everyone was terrified the whole time. He wouldn't even walk into the place. I had to carry him. I felt really uncomfortable and not alone even though I was. In the middle of the night the TV came on snowy and loud and my dog started barking and... More

It is close to a lot of places downtown, including the convention center. The rooms are small but that is to be expected in an older hotel. The bathrooms are huge and tastefully decorated. All of the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was OK - no meat?

Right across the street from the Hilton, but definitely in a different league. If you are looking for low cost this will work for you. Could be charming, but budget probably is a better description. My room was definitely on the small side. Skip the breakfast - very sparse. Parking is not included

We had a lot of problems in just one single night! The toilet was clog, & the worst thing was that the next day we found a ticket for parking violation, What???? Hotels suppost to have a free parking for their guest! & nobody gave an advice about that !! So we had to pay the ticket!!! We spend a... More
