This is a pretty no-frills facility, but it *does* offer really cheap rates, free breakfast, and an airport shuttle, so I liked it ok. PROS: Very cheap, airport shuttle was complementary, friendly down-to-earth staff, kept my room very clean (props to the maids), across the parking lot is some of the most delicious ice cream I've had in my life... This isn't the worst place I've ever stayed...that's about the best thing I can say about it. First impression walking in the door was Bates Motel (Their were knife holes in the wall by the door). The tv and bed were most likely bought the same year...1983... the room smelled like cigarettes and the bathroom light didn't work. Unfortunately it... More

Our room was in incredibly bad shape and dirty! Damaged wallpaper and lamps, cracks and damages everywhere. This was not the worst though! I suffer from asthma and a few minutes after I walked into the room, I started coughing badly. My partner, who does not have allergy problems, also started coughing. There were people selling drugs around the corners... More

I appreciated the transportation from the airport to hotel and visa versa. Always the staff spoke nice and tried to remain patient. This this location is understaffed. No one is accountable for anyone's action. The staff instructed me they would speak to the manager, Adam who was helping another on site. Upon returning to office to see the manager he... More

We Arrived late and were locked out of the lobby even though there was a guy behind the desk. He finally came and let us in and the check in process took forever. When we got into out room and the smoke detector was sitting on top op the tv, and the beds in the room were different heights!! When... More

Beware of this place....not only is the staff horribly rude and unhelpful the place was dirty and very run down. To top it off bed bugs ate one of our group members so badly that they had to go to the doctor. When it was brought up to the front desk - we were treated like it was our fault... More

We stayed here for a convention in mid-Sept 2014 for 5 nights. Here's the good. 1) Close to the UTA Trax allowing you to get to the Energy Solutions Arena, Salt Palace Convention Center and downtown in 5-10 minutes. (fyi.. the UTA map says you have to pay when heading downtime, but we were told by the hotel it's free.)... More

My Aunt and I stayed at this Econo Lodge for a convention. When we arrived, the lobby was full of people yelling at the desk clerk about various things, shuttle service, room keys, etc. We checked in at 9:30 at night, went to our room and to bed. At 3:30 AM, the door opened and someone tried to come in.... More

I stayed here for a convention. Do not pay more than 60.00 a night for this hotel. The property is very old. The room was clean but that is all I can say positive. Rooms need updating and the smoke free room still smelled of smoke. Hotel had a shuttle but it was late except for the weekend driver Chris... More
