My recent stay at the SLC Econo Lodge was great. I've stayed in other Econo Lodge hotels in the past, and this one definitely met my expectations. The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager even followed up during check-out to ensure everything went well.

Needed place to stay for one night and this hotel was fine for that. However, had expected to use WiFi and it was non-functional. The TV reception was pretty poor also. This is a great, clean hotel near downtown Salt Lake. Easy to get to and close to everything. Great rates and a decent breakfast. Coffee maker in room and a very helpful staff. And next door are the most delicious ice cream sundaes at Leatherby's and the best Mexican food at Red Iguana across the street.

While the staff at Econo Lodge was great, they're working with almost nothing.
