First off, the positives: 1. Cill is a delightful person. We loved Tasha the dog, also. Didn't get to see the chickens because it was snowy. 2. Bed was cozy and comfortable and a nice warm place from which to enjoy the snowy view outside. 3. Room was charmingly furnished and we loved the original art and the balcony! 4.... More

The home is old ( which I love), but needs some TLC. One of the owners Cill, is the sweetest gal you'll meet., full of imformation if you ask. The food was great, I have Celiac and she prepared me Gluten Free foods at NO extra charge! My room was ok the door was a Frenchdoor that really didn't lock... More

I booked this inn when I was visiting SLC for job interviews. I simply needed a place to crash and I thought it would be nice to have the warmth of an inn rather than the impersonal Motel 6. There is very little that I can say is right with this establishment, but I will try to start with some... More

We were booked here by someone else who didn't know that we don't care for B&Bs (we've had a couple of truly dreadful experiences). Had we realized that they'd booked a B&B, we would have asked to be re-booked for a boring standard hotel. And here's why - this place is charming. That's what B&Bs are: charming. However, charming is... More

Because of the name of the bed and breakfast, and the rooms named after flowers, we were expecting the decorations to be more whimsical and that there would be fresh flowers in the rooms (or at least the dining area) and flower decorations. Most of the painting were done by one of the owners and many did not compliment the... More

I stayed at this B & B while visiting family instead of a cookie cutter hotel, if you know what I mean. Wonderful breakfasts awaited me every morning whipped up by Cill. I think the most unexpected thing was the chickens in and around us while we ate. Unique. Getting to meet new people everyday at breakfast is part of... More

The room was anything but clean! Cobwebs all over the walls and a huge spiderweb in the corner. Wallpaper was coming off the walls in the bedroom everywhere. The rug in our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a decade and smelled of stale urine. When we pulled back the covers on the bed their was hair and... More

We stayed for 8 nights to visit a friend who lived around the corner. The room was clean and spacious, the breakfasts were excellent (and mostly vegetarian which was fine) and the location had many advantages. The B&B is full of lovely paintings done by one of the owners. The Columbine room has a claw foot tub which I unfortunately... More

Gill, the owner, is a delightful hostess & looked after us very well. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood which is within easy access to the north-south interstate. There are several good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent & cooked to order. The downside was the rooms which need some updating & as it was a hot night, a fan... More

whilst not ideally situated for downtown Salt Lake City without transport, this is a home in a smart residential area of the City with considerable character and charm, the hosts are really pleasant and helpful, the breakfasts served are high quality and freshly made to order, the hosts open their home up to visitors - books and games are there...
