As locals who live near the Armstrong Mansion, we've driven by many times and finally took the opportunity to stay overnight. We were impressed by the friendly service from beginning to end. We especially enjoyed our room (November) and felt it was the most in line with the historical feel of the house. It was beautiful: tall ceilings, original moldings,... More

The mansion itself is lovely. We liked the breakfast. An egg dish, fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, granola, cobbler, toast, strawberry shortcake. No decaf coffee, however. They do give you an option when you reserve the room to make dietary requests and I didn't because I assumed everybody offers decaf coffee. So, if you want decaf coffee, request it when... More

Lovely B&B in a stately old home. Worth a full tour. Location is about a mile to Temple Square. Well maintained with themed rooms (stayed in the January Room). Staff is super friendly (especialy Jeanne) and helpful. Breakfast includes quiche and cobbler as well as other choices. Bed was comfortable and room spotless. Plenty of outlets and TV channels. No... I have stayed here several, times. Always pleasant staff and very nicely appointed rooms. We were in town for a medical procedure. The manager volunteered a special rate for this after I had already paid the reasonable full price and rebooked it at the lower rate. She didn't have to do this do this and that's why I would rather stay... More

What a treat it was to spend the night in this historically significant, well appointed mansion. As I sank into the jetted oversized tub I realized this was how the other half lived in days gone by! Our breakfast was spectacular and our hosts went beyond our expectations to make us welcome. I can't wait to spread the word and... More

We were excited to spend an evening at the Armstrong mansion... so much so that we paid extra to have the June Suite, which was advertised as being the best. Unfortunately, this was not so. The mansion itself is beautiful and old and has a lot of possibilities. Unfortunately, there is a lot of work that needs to be done.... More

My husband and I just stayed at the Armstrong Mansion this past weekend. We stayed in the November room and we were very disappointed. The room needed major work. There were dents and dings in the walls, paint peeling off everywhere, the bathroom fixtures were loose and didn't match, the bathroom door swings open and hits the nightstand and the... More

Stayed here for a doctors appointment. It is a beautiful old home with a wonderful character about it. The breakfast was good. A good variety - something for everyone. They had not yet turned of the heat and our room (being small) was quite warm. We did have a fan and that did help. Being next to a major street... More

The inn itself is beautiful. Beautiful woodwork, carved moldings, etc. The rooms could use a little updating and a little more attention to detail -- I had to go searching for hangers as there were none in my closet. Breakfast was fine but nothing special (though the homemade granola is very tasty).

We stayed in the February Room. This room has a spiral stair case that leads to a jetted tub in a tower. The bed was very comfortable. The Armstrong Manson is over 100 years old and was built buy one of Salt Lake City’s early mayors. The home has beautiful original woodwork and id decorated in antiques. There are homemade... More
