Art Deco rooms, comfortable, safe. If you need celebrity luxury, you'll be disappointed, but if clean, comfortable, and well staffed suits you, book it! Walking distance to many sights and restaurants. Skip across the street thru the parking lot of Little America and have Afternoon Tea at the Grand America. You'll think you're at the Duchess of Dorchester in London!... More

My regular Salt Lake motel was full, so I had to try something new for this trip, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was cozy (read: small-ish, after you put a king bed in it), but clean and fresh. The bathroom was spacious, as was the closet/luggage/dressing area. Soft, plush, towels, and the water pressure was surprisingly good (esp.... More

The hotel is located conveniently to main streets into and out of the city, it's easy to find. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd FL, with a king-sized bed. The Sealy TempurPedic mattress was a real highlight...very comfortable. We found our room clean, including bathroom and linens. The only disappointment was the... More

Skip this one. Rooms are dirty and dated, property looks ok on the outside, but our room had no redeeming qualities. Dirty linens, scary bathroom (tile shower that had been painted as a means of maintenance, etc.), graffiti on wall, door that didn't open, key that didn't work (same for our neighbors). Pool was actually clean, but they didn't open... More

I stayed here for the Salt Lake CIty Comic Con FanX in 2015, it was a very nice place to stay. It was a bit of a walk from there to the Salt Palace where the con was but nothing I couldn't handle. Only thing that kept me from giving this place a 5 was the wifi went out here... More

very friendly staff! We had a large room on the ground floor, two queen beds and a huge bathroom. the beds really are comfy, if you like those fancy memory foam beds (turns out, i love them!) I like really firm mattresses, my friend prefers soft mattresses, and we were both happy! The room was near the office, but it... More

I was recommended this place from a friend because of the bed, and she was right. It was comfortable. Friendly staff, quiet and clean. My complaint's are outlet in bathroom didn't work, and the rooms are outdated. BUT my biggest complaint is that going through my bank statement, the Inn took it upon themselves to charge me an additional $25.00... More

The staff was great - especially the evening shift desk guy. Really nice and helpful. The 'Inn' is a motel style with three floors. My room was on the small side, but OK. It had a comfortable bed. What it didn't have was a thermostat on the heater - it was pretty binary. On/Off. But, you get what you pay... More

I thought the Metropolitan Inn was exactly as advertised. An inexpensive place to stay that was clean and functional. The front desk staff when I checked in was friendly and helpful. Traffic noise from the downtown streets was a bit much (i faced the courtyard) but not bad. No honking horns! Must be in a polite state. I honestly thought... More
