Very nice hotel, close to all of the attractions that Salt Lake City has to offer. The room that we had was of a very high standard. We were travelling around the states of Wyoming,Utah and Colorado and had two nights in the Grand America as a treat mid way through our journey. My 13 & 15 year old children loved the... more

As a local, I've booked stays here for a weekend "away" just for fun. I also chose to stay here for a night before we departed on our honeymoon. As the most upscale, quality hotel in the SLC area, it is a truly beautiful place with plenty of amenities and luxuries. The rooms are beautiful, with damask and very rich... more

The Grand America is incredible and beyond this world or at least Utah. It has been a few years since I have been to Salt Lake (in-laws) so I am not the biggest fan of Salt Lake however I think i found a reason to enjoy my time in Salt Lake. The grand has every service any person could ever... more

My new hubby and I stayed at the Grand America for the first night of our honeymoon. It felt like pure luxury after a very long flight direct from Paris. All the staff are SO friendly, helpful and accommodating - it puts England's customer service to shame! The Grand America is huge. It is also very opulently decorated, catered more... more

I was lucky enough to be upgraded from the Little America Hotel across the street on a business and boy was I pleased. My room was huge and bathroom beautiful. I had a balcony overlooking a courtyard with views of the mountains in the distance. I must admit that I felt a little out of place wandering around the lobby... more

Just an average experience. The hotel looks pretty, but the rooms are very small and kind of dirty. The bathrooms are very big, but they have tiny showers. Room service is a joke. Of course it's incredibly expensive, but it isn't even good!! more

My wife and I stayed at the Grand America Hotel in SLC this July for a company event. The service was hands down incredible for the second we walked in to the second we checked out...The most friendly people and the hotel is so beautiful and clean. The Garden in the court yard is spectacular great to take a stroll... more

For a weekend getaway, my wife and I decided to stay at the Grand America in Salt Lake City. When we arrived, we were met immediately by the staff. Upon entering, we were acknowleded by name and offered bottled water. Check in was perfect. Room was beautiful. We had a king suite overlooking the mountains (east view). We asked for... more

We had a beautiful spacious suite for a reasonable price. The entrance hallway alone was the size of many hotel rooms. The suite was unusual in that it had two queen beds, which was just right for our family group. Most hotel suites only offer one king bed, so are not suitable for families. The hotel itself was splendidly decorated... more

The Grand America is my family's favorite hotel EVER! We've stayed there at least 10 times. It may be pricey for a Utah hotel, but in comparing it with other 5-star hotels throughout the US and abroad, it is a bargain! You've read about about the water bottles and the cookies that greet you in the lobby, the turn down... more
