We stayed here for two nights at the end of our vacation. The hotel is grand, luxurious, friendly, and we had great views from our 18th floor room, our really spacious room. The gym is exactly what it should be in a hotel of this caliber. We thought the location was perfect. We were able to walk to lots of... More

This was my first stay in Salt Lake City. Came to Utah with a co-worker for business. We stayed two nights in Park City and two nights in Salt Lake City. My co-worker chose The Grand America based on a previous visit here. I was blown away with how nice this place is. We both got suites on the 17th... More

This is truly a classic hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed, using genuine period and antique furnishings. The courtyard is a granitic wonder, with a fountain that allows discrete conversation in a larger crowd. The bar staff are surprisingly well educated in mixology and locally brewed treasures. And staff are all around genuinely polite and friendly, instead of the hospitality-training... More

I was there for three nights for s conference. It took awhile to get used to the opulence but it was worth it. The service of all staff was exemplary but a special shout out to Michael in the Garden Cafe. SLC has something of which to be proud.

This hotel is a taste of being wealthy. The service is superior, the rooms posh( Carrara marble floors in the powder and bath rooms- even the trim is Carrara; antique replica furniture; wall covering instead of paint; window treatments instead of drapes) the architecture is stunning and the food is good. Good location, exceptionally clean, and a complete pampering experience.... More

I stayed at the Grand America for two nights in May 2015. I was in SLC for business and selected this hotel as it was preferred by my client. I checked in late on a Sunday evening and was given an "Executive Suite" which was essentially two connected regular rooms, one of which was outfitted as a living room and... More

Everything about this place is luxurious. When you walk into the lobby, you're greeted by an enormous, beautiful floral arrangement. The staff is first-rate and the rooms are enormous - basically everyone gets a well-furnished suite. The view of the mountains was spectacular from my room. The WIFi was free in the rooms and was reasonably fast. There are limited... More

There was nothing about this hotel that we didn't love. Exceptional decor, including some wonderful artworks, a huge and comfortable room with adjoining parlor area (a premier guestroom, not sure if there are others that are smaller) and a bathroom we would be happy with at home, exceptional, friendly service from the doorpersons to the woman in the business center... We stayed the eve of the first wedding for our family of 3 girls. One last night as a family with the same last name ;) What a beautiful setting and princess like surroundings to prepare for her wedding day. Everything was luxurious! Clean comfortable and worth every penny! While it is a pretty penny for sure and way out... More
