Quiet, great beds, clean, well appointed, well stocked personal items, great staff (Jayson Alexander, Front desk Manager was personable and a delight to talk to. The hotel has excellent amenities, and we had a room with a view. What's not to like! We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, but.... sure would have liked a fridge in the... Good morning I just wanted to share my thoughts on my concierge lounge experience this morning. 1. I took the last sausage link, my friend behind me asked the concierge hostess (who was right next to us) if she had any more sausage. She replied "no, I don't have any more". At first I thought it might be because my... More

We decided to hold our company managers meeting at the hotel and it was a really good choice. The rooms are nice, the beds are just right and the price was reasonable. We met in one of the conference rooms on the second floor and the staff worked hard to make sure the water pitchers were full of ice water,... More

Was here with a floor's-worth of relatives for a wedding. This is a large, well-run, well-appointed Marriott. and in that sense, it's generic. You will get exactly the same high quality at most recently-built downtown Marriotts. What sets this one apart is the staff. Every one of them smiles. A lot. And is helpful. A lot. My thanks to Jessica,... More

The arrival experience was very good, with the bell boy taking the bag up the steps (this hotel has a few steps on the front entrance !). The location is excellent, a short walk to Temple square, a longer one to the Capitol, which is easily doable, but rember it is uphill. Checkin was quick (I also had checked in... More

This was a nice, upscale Marriott centrally located in downtown. The furnishings were a bit outdated and heavy, but everything was spotless. The concierge lounge is great - very good desserts in the evening. The pool and workout area are nice - a bit heavy on the chlorine though. Very good service from the staff.

I've stayed here 3 times in the last 3 months and have now made this my preferred hotel in Salt Lake. The location is excellent with good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The fitness center on the 2nd floor overlooks the city center area and is well appointed. The concierge lounge is very... More

I really liked this Marriott. The room was a good size very comfortable. The linens were soft and clean. I wish it had powered USB ports but there were plenty of outlets. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Good choice while in SLC.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Hotel is beautiful. Across the street from the convention center and next door to a mall with high-end stores. One block from Temple Square. Beds were super comfortable, with nice bedding. Starbucks in lobby (although it closed early). Awesome inside pool and hot tub (open until 11 pm). The only negative was the bath towels... More

The only good thing about this hotel is that is conveniently positioned in the city center, very closed to the most part of the restaurants and bars. The room needs to be refurbished, the carpet smelled like mold, and the room itself smelled like a cheep fast food's meal. My husband suspected that somebody had abbandoned an humburger under the...
