Very nice hotel. Ensure u get a city view room and pay for the deluxe. And head to a higher floor. My only negative comment would be the breakfast. It was terrible. The eggs were awful that I left them and ordered an omelette this was even more horrid. Very nice waitress served me, however there were staff in this... More

I try to stay exclusively at Marriott Properties for the 15 to 20 weeks a year that I am on the road. This was a great property. It is centrally located in the downtown area and is walking distance to anything you may need from sightseeing to eating. The rooms were clean and really comfortable. The staff were enjoyable to... Located across the street from the convention center which was hosting ComicCon at the time. Plenty of "interesting" looking individuals to watch. Very close to City Center shopping. A great experience.

I've stayed here several times over the years. The staff is consistently quite professional, helpful, and friendly. Public and meeting spaces are in good shape. Rooms are fine, but starting to look like they might need a bit of attention. Rates here can be good if there's no convention in town but, like all the other center-city hotels here, shoot... More

The hotel itself was clean and the staff was top notch. The rooms themselves are a bit dated in teh furniture and carpet. The breakfast offered either buffet or plated, was a good value. Located near the mall and is in a very safe area with parking on the premises.

Convenient location to Temple Square and shopping at City Creek Center (Nordstrum's and Macy's are the anchor stores). There is a food court in the Mall where you can find any type of 'fast food' you'd like. We went to Taste of Red Iguana (Mexican), big portions and tasty for take out. Eat inside or there's also a nice patio... More

I have stayed in several of the hotels downtown over the years and this is one of the better ones. The Grand is easily the best but also the most expensive. The Marriott is nice but has a little wear on it. I do like the location for where our office is. As others have said, it is a walk... More

This hotel never disappoints. Very nicely situated in the city. Close to everything but not on top of it and slightly removed from all the crowds. Galavan center is just outside the back entrance and is a great open air courtyard with a park like setting with water features, entertainment, beautiful seating areas to relax in. This hotel is perfect... More

We stayed here for 3 days in late August. Their is nothing wrong with this hotel but it seems a little worn down. We had a clean room and the location was great for what we were in town for but it seems like everything in the area shuts down on the weekend. I was expecting a little more service... More

We chose this hotel because it was on the list for convention hotels and it appeared to be just a couple of blocks away from the Convention Center on our literature. It was indeed 3 blocks away, however these are VERY large city blocks so we walked at least a half a mile each way every time we had to... More
