Stay here every time I come to town for business. Front desk is friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is large and plenty of counter space and plugs! The concierge lounge is awesome for breakfast - plenty of options, friendly service and efficient. Great service all around!

This place has a great location right in the heart of downtown. I would rate it a 5, but it's not "luxurious" - very nice with great staff, well kept, etc. Didn't try the restaurant, but it looks nice, as does the fitness center. Upgraded rooms have refrigerators and a larger bathroom. Would definitely stay here again. The other Marriott... More

This hotel was not bad at all and hotel staff was very friendly. I also thought it was convenient for my conference which was right across the street. Room was nice and large and clean. Only negative was I couldn't seem to cool my room off as good as I wanted but that wouldn't keep me from staying here again.... More

I stayed here recently for business meetings. The hotel is in a good location downtown with good access to restaurants and a city park right behind the hotel. The room was comfortable and a good size. The room had a fair bit of roadway noise from State Street, including loud construction overnight during my stay. I used the valet parking... More

I spent the weekend here for a conference in which I was the key presenter. The meeting room was set up exactly as requested and monitored continuously. Staff was more than attentive. Honestly could not of asked for anything more. Special kudos for David Boulton as he went above and beyond at every turn!!! Can't brag on him and the... More

This is a central downtown location close to all restaurants, bars, entertainment. Good value, nice rooms, good restaurant although limited menu. Desk staff was friendly. We had a small suite and that worked well and we had 3 couples staying in the hotel.

Wow! A great Marriott property, especially for the money. The property, location and amenities couldn't have been better for someone who travels 35+ weeks a year. For the cost, this hotel can't be beat. It had everything I needed - nice workout facility, great concierge service/food, modern feel and spacious rooms (I had a room facing the mountains). The staff... More

Very convenient location. Be sure to follow the "Hotel Parking" green neon signs; the hotel parking (P2, red area) is better lit and right near the elevator directly to the lobby. There was no fridge - inconvenient for a 2 day stay. You'll pay for parking ($14 self-park, more for valet). Bedding should be updated - was like sleeping on... More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed my stay there. The room was big and clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was AMAZING. Reception staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay close to Salt Lake City centre.

Recently spent one week for a conference. Th hotel is on state street and is conveniently located to many restaurants, temple square, city creek shopping center, and the salt palace. Check in was very easy. The staff were typically Marriott, friendly and helpful. Valet parking was 16$ a da as opposed to 14$ to self park. Valet was efficient and... More
