This is a solid business hotel. It is a newer property well-situated in downtown Salt Lake City. Although a large hotel, it gives the feeling of being kind of "dead"--not a lot of activity going on in the lobby area--which is not a bad thing. Just finishing up a stay at the Marriott City Center in Salt Lake City. In for business this time. This hotel is well situated in the center of the city with lots of good restaurants nearby. Ony stayed one night (unfortunately) in July w/ wife wife and small child. I requested early check in and was surprised they had our room ready at 11AM!!! Very attentive and courteous staff. At the last minute we made a reservation for a Salt Lake City getaway. The Marriott City Center was just as one expects from a Marriott, i.e. everything is great. The staff was friendly, and the room was very nice. more

This hotel is conveniently located at the edge of City Center. Within 3 blocks of most restaraunts, etc. The rooms were very clean and contemporary. Had a few beers in the bar, with the service being excellant more

August 2009. We had the opportunity to spend multiple nights at the Marriott City Center when business required us to be in the area. The hotel is around the business district of downtown SLC. There is daily valet charge at this property. I will say that this was the best group of valets I have seen in a long time.... more

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights at the start and end of our 2 week trip to Utah. It was a good quality,very pleasant hotel, the staff were welcoming and helpful with the couple of queries we had.
