I was staying for 5 nights in this hotel attending a conference. Hotel room was spacious and clean, conference facilities - more than satisfactory and legendary house-made granola - really unforgettable! Definitely recommend!

There is nothing special about this hotel. It is expensive for its location add nothing more. There is no complementary breakfast. What a let down. We had to take a second honeymoon because we felt let down staying 2 days at this Marriott. The pool and hot tub are comparable to a Motel 8. Glad we could walk to temple... More

If you are touring the Temple Square or going to a convention at The Salt Palace, this is your place. 1/2 block from Temple Square, across the street from Sal Palace, 1 block from Creek Side shopping mall and light rail. Typical excellence for Marriott as far as rooms and service. My only bug about room is we were stuck... More

GOOD Centrally located in SLC close to the tram stop walking distance from many eateries awesome breakfast buffet (I purchased the breakfast included package) quiet rooms concierge (Brandon?) was very helpful, although the pre-written instructions are wrong NOT SO GOOD Hm. I can't really think of anything. Valet parking only. I'm normally a HHonors (Hilton) traveller but recently I switched... More

I stay have Marriott’s for all my business and personal travel and for the most part have very positive experiences. However; I left a valuable piece of merchandise in the safe at this hotel and when I called they said they would check with room service to see if they found it. I questioned why room service would have access... More

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott City Center for two nights while we were in town for a wedding. I would summarize it as "comfortably elegant". It is a beautiful hotel with nice amenities and a good location. The staff were very polite and friendly (although it seems like everyone in Salt Lake City is that way). Our... More

I stayed here for work and slept well -- the beds are very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. I didn't really do much exploring of the entire property but everything I saw was relatively up to date. Not new, but definitely in good working order. The location is wonderfully central and felt plugged into the city here.

The service at this hotel is very good and the beds comfortable. The rest needs some fresh paint and some new carpets. Although it isn't that bad it isn't top notch. I would go back but would look at other options as well.

Spent one night here. Very nice hotel with good location if you want to be downtown. The concierge lounge is nice, and the hors d' oeuvres are better than most Marriotts I have been in. However if you want a drink you will be subject to Utah's liquor laws which are still very strange.

I usually enjoy staying at Marriott hotels, being a Platinum member. I asked for a king sized bed but they put me in a room with uncomfortable double beds - not even queens. The breakfast in the concierge lounge was limited in selection and I was continuously trying to find staff to replenish items such as bread, plates, silverware, glasses,... More
