I didn't even know the hotel was there, but I was referred because of a hospital visit to the university. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. I noticed a lot of little extra's for which better known places require a payment. Close to anything in Salt Lake City you want to do. Great breakfast with good hours... More

Great location right on campus. Very clean and a wonderful breakfast with a lot of variety. Nice fitness room. Front desk folks were so friendly and helpful. Very close to the Utrak. Felt very safe. Would definitely stay there again.

The Guest House is a clean and comfortable hotel. The hot breakfast is a big plus. The staff was very helpful with information on the area and with getting me a taxi. If I had business with the University again, I'd definitely stay here.

We liked our large room on the 1st floor. It is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very delicious and wonderful. We enjoyed our stay. You have great accesses into the hotel. We went to the University Medical Center for a check up on a surgery.

We held a celebration of life (as opposed to a funeral) at the University of Utah's Commander's House. The location was lovely and facility excellent. All staff contacts were professional and responsive. They could not have made organizing this event any easier which was especially valuable after the loss. I am grateful for all. Catering provided by Chartwells, also at... More

This isn't the Park Hyatt, but it is very comfortable, clean, and roomy. The staff is exceptionally helpful and courteous (for instance, I needed skis returned to the university ski shop which was closed when I checked out, and the staff agreed to do this for me without additional charge. You won't get this kind of help at the Hyatt.... More

The title speaks for itself...thank you Guest House for another terrific experience. A few constructive comments for what it's worth; complimentary breakfast bar provides a good choice of food and drink options however the area gets overcrowded due to a lack of a more open space. Too bad there isn't another 100 sq ft of space to expand!

We were here for a medical visit. During a bad winter storm. The hotel staff took excellent care of us, shuttling us back and forth to medical appointments, and even taking us to and from restaurants for meals. Really great hot breakfast in the morning. Coffee/tea service 24/7. We highly recommend them.

Writing this review from my hot room as I cannot sleep. This is an older property, and the air conditioning units only go on every 15 min or so, so you are very comfortable while the AC is on (and loud as hell) then miserable in between when it turns off and youre Hot! The matresses are very old spring... More

Jhmom, Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure why you had an issue with your a/c unit. They are user controlled and can be left on fan mode continually. If your unit was loud I do apologize. Our beds are no more than two years old and are quality Serta mattresses. Our guests often inquire wher they can... More
