We stay at this property every other month for medical purposes. I cannot say enough good about this place. The rate is very reasonable, the service is consistently excellent, staff very polite and considerate and suites are consistently clean and well appointed. Very safe and secure feeling in every way. Love this place - makes a high anxiety trip so... more

The rooms are a little on the cozy side but nice. I would request the back side of the motel it is a little more quiet. There are may restraunts with in walking distance. There is a nice little park, stream and walking trail out back. A whole foods market for groceries and a movie theater as well. The kitchen has... more

If you are a germophobe, then this is not the place to stay. The bedding didn't seem entirely clean, some towels had stains, and I could tell that the bathroom had rarely been dusted as there was dust everywhere. - Now, if you are looking for just adequate accomodations, then this place is just fine, but for those who need... more

Have stayed several times at this extended stay hotel. It is beginning to show it's age. AC was not connected to the thermostate. Mildew in grout in bathtub. Showerhead not worth taking shower. These were the problems in one particular room. This hotel is suitably located for our visiting in SLC. Will stay there many more times. more

I stayed in the Sugar House Homestead for about 8 days. The stay would been just fine for myself staying alone. But I wasn't, and it made the absolutly tiny size of the room, more noticable. The kitchenette is nice, and the bed is below average, definatly not a queen, as advertised. The location is great though. Walking distance to... more

We stayed at these suites in January 2006. This was our fourth time and we were very satisfied. The location is great - near shops, restaurants and other amenities. We particularly liked that it is 2 minutes walk/drive from Wild Oats so we could stock up with organic groceries and cook our own meals. We had come to ski and... more

The convenience of Homestead Suites really made a difference. The location in Sugarhouse was close to our office, as well as near a number of restaurants and a grocery. I've stayed in three separate rooms -- once for two nights, once for a week, and once for two weeks. Overall, I'd stay again -- but some of my coworkers will... more

We stayed at the Homestead in Sugarhouse for one night the first part of October. Got the room for a good deal on Priceline, but I don't think I would have paid full price. Room was very clean, and we loved having a full size refrigerator in the room. Only problem is the room was TINY! They advertise a "queen"... more

I travel all around the world on business, and Salt Lake City is the absolutely the most boring and uninteresting city I have ever stayed in. It is good for only one thing, IMO: skiing! Staying at the Homestead Sugar House, however, makes the trip more endurable. Sugar House is one of the newest and nicest areas of Salt Lake... more
