I am here as I write this. It's 5.39am and not slept yet due to the noise. Not only that the bed is uncomfortable as are the pillows. Bedding is like paper. As are the walls. You can hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms. Won't be using Mobil 6 again on this trip. Only $54 for the night for 2... More

Nice rooms. Left CA. and stopped for the night. Both hubby and myself had to show id when renting a room. Nice friendly staff and the rooms were clean and updated. Love the new updated rooms. When we got up in the morning there was 5 inches of snow on our car ( we are snowbirds from Illinois ) making... More

Non-smoking room smelled like a nasty smelling deodorizer trying to hide cigarette smell. The toilet was leaking and the sink took minutes, not seconds to drain. They said because we left our pet in the room it was against their policy (first I heard of it) so they refused to let us pay for additional nights. This place stinks for... More

The good: It is in a great location downtown right off the highway close to restaurants Starbucks stores. And the price is certainly right compared to other SLC hotels. Free secure parking. The bad: But, still overall it was an unpleasant experience. Walls and windows are very thin so you hear EVERYTHING. I heard the guy coughing in the next... More

To keep it short. The staff was extremely rude and treated me like an idiot just because my European credit card did not work in their system. I had to go back in line and then pay cash. I was treated like I got no money. Room not the cleanest and the neighborhood felt unsafe.

Another bad experience at motel 6 they room was filthy the pillows yellow the mattress stained and the price not good for what you get. Tom Bodtet should leave the lights out at this hotel then you would not see how nasty the bed you are sleeping in is. As far as being the lowest price hotel chain in the... More

When no other room is available the Motel 6 is always available. Limited services, but cheap. You get what you pay for and the hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to everything down town. Simple easy and low cost. Salt Lake City hotels fluctuate a lot Motel 6 is constant.

I stayed here over the weekend. Check in was fast. The room was very clean with modern furniture. The bathroom was awesome! The shower reminded me of Star Trek. The shower looked like a space age transportation tube! There is a laundry facility to do your laundry. Starbucks is right across the street. There is a Mc Donalds down the... More

We paid extra for fridge and Microwave. Fridge came with freezer. Bathroom was newly renovated with great toilet and shower stall only. Sink was on the outside of the bathroom and was nice granite surface. TV was CRT, AC/Heat was individual heat pump. Paint was new and modern. Couldn't help but notice a few cigarette burns in the sheets. Place... More

I've stayed in motels before and yes I know what to expect, so driving up to this motel my standards were pretty low, after all we were only there for three nights and it was merely a place to shower and sleep. Upon attempting to check in I found out it was a shift change over and was rudely told... More
