It did the job. My only "complain" is no fridge in the room but that's pretty common. But it's the reason I didn't give it a 5. Cute bathroom but the door was slightly awkward. Front desk was quick and very friendly.

I first stayed in the Little America in 1987. Back then an experienced local told me it was the best hotel in SLC. A lot of new and more expensive hotels have now been built but in my opinion it is still the best hotel in SLC and definitely the best value. I have stayed there 5 or 6 times... More

We spent 8 days at Little America for a ski trip combined with a choir event. The room is a bit dated but mostly clean. The reception area and gym are nice. I had to get work done over the internet and this place just about cost me my job. The first couple of days when the hotel was almost... More

Stayed here for two nights this past week. I guess because of spring break I couldn't get a room in the main hotel, so I was put into one of their rooms from the disconnected buildings in front. The bed was so hard, I barely slept the entire two nights I was there. Don't get me wrong, someone might like... More

Despite a very late check in due to weather, I was pleasant surprised by the quick attention and ability to get to a comfortable room, literally within minutes of walking in the door. I was very pleased with the room (12th floor) and the layout was perfect for the business trip I was on. A comfy King bed to quickly... More

I stayed at the Little America Hotel for a conference. I was in the original wing of the hotel. While clearly old, it was very well maintained and extremely clean. I enjoyed talking with the hotel staff about the history of the hotel. They were very pleasant and seemed to enjoy talking with me about the hotel. I would definitely... More

Little America - and Grand America - have the highest level of cleanliness and well-maintained property only rivaled by other hotels that cost far more to stay in. This is not a trendy hotel, but in terms of value, old-fashioned comfort and cleanliness it is best in class. The attention to detail and quality of staff are superb. Sneaking over... More

As a previous resident of SLC for 5 years, I can say with confidence that you can't get much more comfort for your dollar than you can with the Little America of downtown SLC. While my political leanings do not necessarily match up with those of the mormon management, I have to give them credit for running a tight-ship and... More

I reserved a "garden room" but what it really was was a motel in the parking. My colleague who is staying in tower talks about how nice her room is. We are apparently having different experience. I get the whole 1950's feel thing, but calling a motel in the parking lot a "garden room" is clearly false advertising. Add to... More

The hotel has a terrible internet connection that has trouble even loading websites, so if you're planning to get some work done from the hotel, don't bother coming here. The breakfast however is excellent.
