Not sure what other reviewers meant by a quiet rv park, or a little inconvenience with train noise, but ear plugs wouldn’t even help! About 2:15am, the first train whistle blasts with 2 shorts and then excruciating long blasts all the way down the pike! I counted nine trains until 4:20am; then a break until 6:15am when two more blasted... More

My wife and I stayed at this KOA for the first time this September. We stayed in a cabin which is the usual for us and overall the cabin was good with a small fridge and TV which is not common. The location is right in the city which I assume the city grew out around the site. This was... More

We found SLC KOA a very convenient and comfortable place to spend five nights in September. We had requested one of their end patio sites, and it was lovely. Very level with our own little grass lawn and shade tree. The UTA Trax system is just a short walk from the entrance and quickly transports you in to the city.... More

We spent 2 nights here and found it too be pleasant and very centrally located( it's right in the city) It's a very busy park and the only negative would be the very poor wifi which is essential today. ...........,,,,,,,,,,..................

We stayed at this park in late September, 2014 with another couple in two motorhomes. It is a very nice and well-managed park. Spaces are crowded pretty close together but it does not create a problem. there is a very nice dirt trail at the rear of the property that allows you to walk your dog along a creek for... More

Stayed at the Salt Lake City KOA three nights in August as it is the closest KOA to Tooele where my grandson was getting married. The spaces are adequate and there are plenty of trees; pads not necessarily level, so used my leveling blocks. Restrooms and showers are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. The tent sites were grassy and plush plus were within easy reach of the showers/ restrooms. Thwre werw enough activities to keep the kids busy and happy. The local is convienent for shopping and sightseeing.A plus was that the local tram was right in front of the park. Highly recommend it.

This was our 3rd stay and each time it gets worse. Staff friendly, and the facilities and grounds clean. Pool way too small for amount of people. Store was not stocked very well but ok. All this being said...This camp grounds is very busy and there are long time stayers. Loud and people drove through way too fast. There is... More

If, like us, you've been camping in the woods and want a re-entry place with Internet access, this is not it. We have responsibilities and communication needs, so picked this one that advertises "FREE Wi-Fi". There's not enough bandwidth for the park, and they insist everything's fine, even though guest after guest goes to the office to inquire/complain (some needing... More

This is a very clean friendly KOA just west of SLC. The space was big easy pull thru there was a pool and hot tub for the kids and on weekends $9.00 fed 5 people pancakes sausage and eggs all around can't beat that deal. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it was a great spot. Pet friendly too.
