We stayed here one night on a 4 day vacation. The location is great if you want easy access to downtown Salt Lake City. We thought the price was reasonable after checking several other hotels in the area. The room was nothing fancy but was clean and comfortable. Front desk clerk was very helpful in giving us recommendations where to... more

We flew to SLC to enjoy the Spurs/Jazz game and wanted something close by. This hotel was only a block away so we booked it. We called for their free shuttle and the lady said 10 minutes, we waited 35 minutes. We tried to get the driver to tell us stuff about the city but he wasn't really in the... more

This was an ok hotel, not too far away from where we needed to go. Rooms were spacious but not very clean, there were lots of ants in our bathroom. No bath, just a small shower. There is a pool, its a lot smaller than it looks in the photo, we did not use it though. I don't think I... more

Pulling into the Parking lot, this looks like a prison, really dull and grey! Entering the area where the lifts were was no better, the stairs which were inside were like the kind you would find outside, pretty worn and battered, the hallways were in a desperate need of brightning up. On entering the room it was in need of... more

We stayed just one night here and were perfectly comfortable. It was a case of dumping our luggage and getting straight out to see as much as we could. We visited the temple and the shopping area and had a meal at the Italin restaurant there. It was unfortunately a disappointing meal. We enjoyed Salt Lake City though more

Stayed in the HJ for 3 nights in September as part of an escorted tour (Jetsave) and will return. The location is ideal - close to the TRAX, Mall, Downtown etc. The complimentary breakfast REALLY hits the spot - healthy options only - no bacon or greasy stuff. Ideal ! The folks at reception were very busy when we checked... more

This older property caters to the budget minded guest with reasonable efficiency and hospitality. Make no mistake about it. This is a HoJo and not a JW Marriott or Cranwell or Four Seasons. But this is a reasonably good HoJo. Room: My room was large, with a comfortable bed, surprisingly well lit table with chairs, TV with CNN and HBO,... more

The only good thing about this hotel is its location, since it is two short walking blocks from the Delta Center (Energy Solutions Arena), Temple Square, and much of downtown Salt Lake. However, the quality of the rooms is horrible but not unexpected considering their price. We used 5 rooms for a wedding and not one of the 15 people... more

Rooms were clean. Day Management was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was very nice with added touch of cereal and fruit. Motel is close to downtown. HOWEVER, being close to the Delta Center and other SLC activities is a major negative since the motel allows non-guests to park in the motel parking lot when there are activities going on. I... more

Four of us stayed at this hotel for two days. The location was wonderful for being able to get around downtown SLC. Easy to find and close to the Gateway Mall. Room was average comfort. Not great, but not bad either. The sink and mirror were in the bathroom so that was a bit of a pain as we had... more
