The Domaine Madeline exceeded all of my expectations. The room, grounds and breakfast were all absolutely first rate. The sheets on the bed are so incredibly soft that it was difficult to get up in the morning. The only thing that got me going in the morning was the knowledge of the sumptuous breakfast awaiting me in the ocean view... More

New York is certainly an amazing city, but I'm glad we could offer you a completely different experience. Hope you got to sample some of our local farm-to-table restaurants (aside from our breakfasts). Speaking of farm-to-table, our aquaponics greenhouse is now fully operational and the "crops" are filling in nicely - so your next breakfast couldn't get any more local! More

Glad you enjoyed staying in the Ming Suite. We'll be sure to give you lots more ideas for things to do on your next visit. Did you know there are Ranger-led snowshoe tours and a ski school on Hurricane Ridge? More

A fabulous visit at Domaine Madeleine. The hospitality, accommodations and unique location were wonderful, and the breakfast was "out of this world". This is our 8th visit and I would highly recommend the Inn to anyone desiring something "special" Baron & Rhonda Derr

We're so glad your time here was special and hope you feel like this is your vacation home away from home. See for the Crab Festival in October! More

Our first anniversary getaway at the Domaine Madeline was a wonderful experience. The Renoir suite was absolutely beautiful and it had a gorgeous view of the ocean. We will definitely be visiting again.

We hope the wine, flowers and candles helped make it a special occasion too. Glad you enjoyed your stay here and we look forward to you coming back in early October to watch the salmon jump up the Sol Duc River... it's quite a sight to see and we know you'll love it. :-) More

Loved the place! Fantastic views, tastefully decorated. Stephen and Chris were wonderful hosts providing everything that we needed and more. Breakfast was exceptional and beautifully served. High quality tea and coffee and cookies available in the common areas. And can't forget the gorgeous garden areas. A wonderful and peaceful place. Will return.

Can I just live in the Ming Suite? I can't think of one bad thing to say - oh yes I can. The toilet paper could be a little softer. Oh, and one more - if you are putting a non-vegetarian ingredient in a dish, it would be nice if you could warn your vegetarians of that. Other than that... More

We wish our guests could live in our rooms... and we try our best to make Domaine Madeleine feel like your private vacation home (fully stocked and staffed, of course) where all of your needs and wants are met before you even ask. Please accept our apologies about the toilet paper. We are seeking a more sustainable source for toilet... More

Stayed here last weekend, everything was perfect. Extras in the bathroom, chocolates on the pillow and Stephen went the extra mile with breakfast. I have several food intolerances and he made my food look as appetizing as everyone else's. We will come back.

We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. We considered preparing your breakfast a fun challenge - like an episode of Food Network's "Chopped" - you list the ingredients in our mystery basket and we do our best to make something tasty. Looking forward to seeing you next time! More

We stayed two nights in the Monet. Besides being lulled by the balmy northwest weather, we two Massachusetts snow refugees were in a great mood. Our hosts were exceptional. We had a pretty tight itinerary and limited time so we were on the go for our stay. If, and I hope when, we return I would build in more time... More

We're so glad you were able to get out of the bitter Northeast Cold and slip into a warm cozy room at Domaine Madeleine. We agree--and encourage everyone--that adding an extra night just to enjoy the breath-taking views and beautiful intimate gardens right here at the inn can make the difference between feeling relaxed and refreshed or just rushed through... We spent a wonderful Valentine's weekend at Domaine Madeleine. The room was recently redecorated and I wish that we could have spent more than two nights. If you love jacuzzi tubs then the Monet room will be perfect for you! The main area of the B&B was thoughtfully stocked with tea, cocoa, and cookies and there were plenty of movies... More

Thank you so much for the kind words.... and we're so glad you loved the recently renovated Monet Suite. We think it's a calming, spa-like retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. We're happy to see you agree! :-) We look forward to your next visit! More

We have been coming to Domaine Madeleine at least once a year for 18 years. Recently We enjoyed three nights at Domaine Madeleine celebrating Valentine's Day. This is a great B&B to relax and enjoy everything the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. We enjoyed a romantic Valentine's Day that included massages in our beautiful room overlooking the water. One cannot... More
