This motel was perfect for what it was, a night along the way to Olympic National Park. The room was clean, had cable, wifi, a microwave, a little fridge and let's not forget the price was absolutely acceptable for a motel. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a room on their journey. Do remember, it... More

The other reviews here really fooled me. I was way disappointed when I arrived here. Older typical row motel - NOT updated, with dead landscaping (except for some roses). I had a two bedroom unit with a kitchen, kitchen did not have a microwave. Very few electrical plugs throughout unit, NO available plugs in front room, all were used. Needed... More

We were driving from Seattle to First Beach, and decided to stop off in Port Angeles for the night. The reviews of the Sportsman were correct, in that despite its age, it is a very well kept motel. Everything is old, but everything works and is well maintained. The person staffing the desk was a bit abrupt with us about... More

My fiancee and I were in town for a 50th Wedding Anniversary party and had booked a double room at the Sportsman for one night with our 2 kids, knowing that the party house was going to be full and somewhat noisy into the wee hours of the following morning. First of all, the phone reservation process was a breeze;... More

My parents came to visit, and we headed to Olympic National Park. We called to reserve a room at the Sportsmen Motel. I am always a little wary of strip-mall type motels, because, in my experience, they usually seem to be seedy/druggy/scary. So, when we got there, we asked to see a room first. I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed... More

My beau and I have been staying in motels fur the last month while traveling throughout California, Oregon, and new Washington. Mostly in motel 6's to stretch or dollar. We are starting here now for $50. The room is extremely clean, not a single stain on the carpet, or bedding. The room also has a microwave and mini fridge which... More

We stayed one night at the Sportsman Motel in Port Angeles, Washington, while on a trip to the Olympic National Park. We paid $65 for a room with a queen bed, cable TV, microwave and frig. It is an older hotel, along Highway 101 on the East side of Port Angeles. It was very clean and had a very reasonable... More
