My wife and I went to Port Angeles to do some cycling. We stayed one night in the George Washington Inn. It was exactly as we hoped it would be. The calming smells of lavender greet you when you first get out of the car. The grounds are beautiful, the building warm and inviting. The room was spacious and comfortable.... More

We loved our stay. The setting is unparalleled--on one side a view of the mountains, on the other the Strait of San Juan de Fuca and in front a Lavender Farm. Convenient location between Sequim and Port Angeles for dining and access to Olympic National Park. The rooms are very large with great whirlpool tubs. The breakfasts are delicious and... More

The Inn has a great location and stunning views of the San Juan Straits, the Olympic Mountains and their lavender farm. The rooms are quite big with views and lots of light. Our review would stop here if the rooms were priced around 130-200$, however since the actual price was 280-300$ our expectations were those of a truly 5 Star... More

We appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback. We are sorry that your expectations were not realized. The Martha’s Suite in which you stayed is the only one of our five guest rooms that is on the ground floor. All other guest rooms are upstairs. In spite of good insulation, the hardwood floors cannot be completely sound-proofed in... More

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this inn. The inn is beautifully designed and maintained with very good attention to detail and every comfort needed by a traveler. Had gorgeous views of the mountains, ocean, lavender fields and sunsets. Dan and Janet are great hosts with warm hospitality and also serve delicious breakfasts. This inn can match... More

U. H. Italy We stayed two nights and felt extremely comfortable. A most beautiful place in a splendid environment between the sea and the mountains of Olympic National Park. The lavender farm enhances the special atmosphere of the structure. The hosts are very professional and pay due attention to the well-being of their guests. The rooms are well equipped, the... More

For many years now, I have relied on Tripadvisor reviews to assist in locating the right lodging for my travels and I have to say that discovering the George Washington Inn has been the very best of all. Back at the early 2014, while trying to plan a family vacation in the Pacific Northwest with some time near Olympic National... More

My Grandson and I were treated to a two night stay just after Sequim's annual Lavender Festival. The property is beautiful, immaculately kept and the Inn Keepers are very personable and accommodating. The view of the Straits of Juan de Fuca is simply lovely. It was a most enjoyable stay.

The George Washington Inn is the best hotel/inn I have ever been to. The property is beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the accommodations are not to be matched. The first thing one notices about the George Washington Inn is its stark beauty. The property models itself as an almost exact replica of President George Washington's home of Mount Vernon.... More

Since 2009 my wife and I have vacationed in this area and, sadly, we just discovered the George Washington Inn. From the beautiful lavender in the front yard to the view of the Strait in the backyard, this place is a sight to behold. The hosts are warm and genuine and we never once felt like outsiders. Cannot wait to... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights over the Fourth of July. The setting, to put it simply, is like out of a movie set. The inn sits (safely back) on a cliff above Puget Sound, with endless views of Victoria and the San Juan Islands. From the front porch, you can sit on a rocking chair and... More
