My husband and I went for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The room was very comfortable and quiet, with very nice touches like a spa bath and an electric fireplace, and a beautiful view. The breakfasts were tasty and filling. The location was convenient to Sequim, Port Angeles, and the Olympic National Park. There are... more

Wow, this place was awesome. The rooms (only 4) are spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and spotless. The view was incredible, the area quiet and a truly luxurious atmosphere. They have recreated Mt. Vernon in a gorgeous area; the owners are gracious, kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and cookies & cocoa were always available. No kids allowed, but you... more

My wife, adult daughter and I just returned from two wonderful nights at GW Inn. It was unique and fascinating to stay in the Presidential Suite of an exact exterior replica (except for added front portico) of Washington's Mount Vernon. The setting, with broad lawns and expansive view of Strait Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island, parallels Washington's setting on... more

I came to the Pt. Angeles area for only a couple of days to sightsee. Out of all the B&Bs on the web, I chose the GWI. Just driving up the long, lavender-lined driveway to the inn sets the mood for the grandeur of the place. Driving under the portico made me feel like a celebrity of some kind! My... more

The George Washington Inn is beautiful and couldn't have a better location. Everything was perfect from the moment of arrival. The room and bed was by far the most comfortable on the trip, and the bed maybe the most comfortable ever. The views were exceptional, with the Strait to the back and the mountains to the front (when not in... more

My husband and I stayed here back in October and wanted to go hiking in the Olympic National Park but didn't want to backpack in October (it's a little chilly). We found the George Washington Inn. The bed and breakfast sits on the Straight of Juan de Fuca and has an amazing view from the back as deer walk through... more

We were staying two nights after an 10h flight in one of the lovely and spacious suits of the Inn. We had booked only two days before based merely on information from Google earth and the homepage of the Inn. This place is even better than it looks on the page: The warm welcome of the Inn keepers, the tasty... more

We travel for leisure about every two months, and we are pretty picky about where we stay--comfort is important, as is ambience. The George Washington Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. First of all, the location can't be beat. We had plans to drive up to Hurricane Pass to watch the sunset, but when we saw the double back... more

I stayed several nights at GWI and was amazed at the incredible view, plush accommodations, and grandeur of the inn. If you want a quiet, peaceful retreat, I highly recommend George Washington Inn. Ships sail by constantly on the Strait and you can watch them from your room or from one of the two outdoor balconies. The rooms have warm... more

The George Washington inn is the most spectacular Inn we've been to ! It is like stepping back into time ! We drove up and all of the deer were grazing in the fields, only too look up at us and see who was arriving ! There were eagles in the trees watching the water for their next meal !... more
