We've stayed at the George Washington Inn in Port Angeles three times, and each has been better than the last. The accommodations are superb, service with just the right touch of personal care and respect for privacy, and the surroundings peaceful and quiet. Small town atmosphere is just a few minutes drive away or you can drive up to Hurricane... More

In the north-central part of the Olympic Peninsula is the George Washington Bed and Breakfast. It was recommended to us by our daughter who had stayed there during lavender blooming season. We reserved at the GW INN for its recommended: ambiance, location and setting. The inn is situated on ten-acres boarded by the water of Straits of Juan de Fuca..... More

Our family of three chose this lovely situated B&B for our two days’ stay destined for hiking in the Olympic National Park. The inn is located between Port Angeles and Sequim offering splendid views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the one side and of a lavender farm as well as of Olympic Mountains on the other. The... We had the pleasure of finding this gem of a B & B and will make it one of our regular getaways. We loved it so much we exerted our stay for a day. The rooms are large and cozy with beautiful water views. The owners are fantastic and you must try the coffee that Dan roasts on site. I... More

This bed and breakfast was by far, the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! The views were spectacular no matter which way you looked! The grounds were manicured to perfection and the rooms were spotless. It was such a pleasure having a delicious breakfast with a such a beautiful view. We stayed in the Surveyor's Suite which was nice... More

This is one of those few inns for which it's nearly impossible to think of any detail which could be improved. The location - both the view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca from one side of the inn, and the view of the lavender farm and the Olympics from the other side - is outstanding, but the inn... More

We stayed at the George Washington Inn for two nights in August 2015, and I have to admit we were a little sad to leave. From the detailed attention to comfort and customer service to the reverent focus on the period décor and all things “George and Martha,” innkeeper-owners Dan and Janet provide a superior guest experience. We stayed in... More

Location: a breathtaking, atmospheric view from the cliff (or the porch) toward Vancouver Island; a short drive to a 5000+ foot view over glaciers, ocean, and rainforest. Yes, the skies were clean and clear during our visit. Within range of many Olympia Park entry points. The Room: warm, spacious, truly comfortable and well appointed. The tub is wonderful... This is a great venue. Unique in that it is a duplicate of Mt. Vernon set in lavender fields and mountains on one side and a panoramic view of the Straits of Juan De Fuca and south end of Vancouver Island on the other. The rooms are very nice and the setting for breakfast is breathtaking. BTW, the food is... More

The other reviews did a great job saying why the Inn is an excellent experience. We stayed two nights in September while we were hiking the Olympic National Park. Since we wanted to see sunrises or get to our destination early so it was uncrowded, we reluctantly missed breakfasts. But to our amazement, Janet set up a granola, cereal, and... More

Thank you for your review and for your kind comments. We were concerned about your difficulty with the wi-fi signal. We are subscribed at the highest level possible and, unfortunately, sometimes that service may experience a slowdown. However, based on your feedback, we have added one more wi-fi extender to alleviate any dead zones on the west end of the... More
