The Inn was a relaxing, lovely place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The inn keepers were pleasant and helpful and provided us with a wonderful breakfast on a charming sun porch overlooking the lawns. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the bathroom had many nice touches that we appreciated...make up mirror, roomy bath... More

There are several B&Bs along the coast nearby, but none are as impressive as the George Washington. Janet was a wonderful host. The rooms were cozy and private with excellent views. The tub was my favorite because we could use bubble bath, which was kindly supplied. All the bath amenities came from their lavender farm (hand soap, bath bars, bubble... More

We selected this hotel because of the high reviews, and we were not disappointed. The Inn is immaculate, inviting, beautiful and serene. Every picture taken of the property looks like a postcard. Janet was a lovely host, and a wonderful cook (the breakfast muffins were amaaaaazing. I ate two of them, and would have eaten a third if there was... More

We had a wonderful stay at the George Washington Inn. It's located in a quiet area on the water outside of Sequim. The grounds are lovely and the rooms are excellently furnished. I especially liked the all-season fireplace, the broad veranda for sipping a glass of wine, the jetted tub, and the bright breakfast porch. Dan and Janet were such... More

At the end of our three week vacation walking mountain trails, I decided to splurge on the George Washington Inn as a treat for my husband's birthday - and for me too! We were in the Generals Suite! King bed, faux fireplace, soaking tub, kitchen, balcony overlooking the lawn and water, private front door and stairs into kitchen - pure... More

We stayed here on a road trip awhile ago, and I just realized that I never posted a review, and felt I should because this place was so wonderful. The owners are really warm and welcoming, and obviously pour themselves into the property, based on the attention to detail in the rooms, and their (rightful) pride while showing us around.... More

The trip to the George Washington Inn in 2013 was so wonderful, that everyone in our group wanted to return again this year. Last year we only spent one night, and this year we wanted a longer stay to more fully enjoy all that the Inn has to offer. It was just as magical a visit as last year and... More

My wife and I went to Port Angeles to do some cycling. We stayed one night in the George Washington Inn. It was exactly as we hoped it would be. The calming smells of lavender greet you when you first get out of the car. The grounds are beautiful, the building warm and inviting. The room was spacious and comfortable.... More

We loved our stay. The setting is unparalleled--on one side a view of the mountains, on the other the Strait of San Juan de Fuca and in front a Lavender Farm. Convenient location between Sequim and Port Angeles for dining and access to Olympic National Park. The rooms are very large with great whirlpool tubs. The breakfasts are delicious and... More

The Inn has a great location and stunning views of the San Juan Straits, the Olympic Mountains and their lavender farm. The rooms are quite big with views and lots of light. Our review would stop here if the rooms were priced around 130-200$, however since the actual price was 280-300$ our expectations were those of a truly 5 Star... More

We appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback. We are sorry that your expectations were not realized. The Martha’s Suite in which you stayed is the only one of our five guest rooms that is on the ground floor. All other guest rooms are upstairs. In spite of good insulation, the hardwood floors cannot be completely sound-proofed in... More
