I rented this house for a family vacation with 8 of us. We all had the best time here. They have the most comfortable rooms and everything you can think of for a stay. We went Kayaking, watched the whales and dophines, played board games, grilled, and spent a lot of time on the deck. While the house does need... More

We just stayed here the beginning of July 2012. Julie is correct in everything that she had stated. We had a welcoming letter from the owners that wasn't so welcoming. The pots and pans needing replacing, the mermaid room smelling of mold and not having a key to lock the door, pretty much everything that Julie wrote was correct. On... More

This house is in disrepair. It's up for sale and items are being removed, like pictures. The spot above the mantle is blank which is weird. The pictures on the website must have been taken quite some time ago. The grounds are not very well maintained. The house is in need of a good paint job. The pots and pans... More

My fiancé and I brought our two miniature shnauzers for a 2 night getaway Memorial Day weekend. Before I begin the review, lets make this clear that this place is NOT a bed and breakfast, as it is advertised on the website and everywhere else. No one is going to cook for you in the morning or be bothering you... More

February on the north coast of Washington is not exactly tourist season. For the two of us, we planned to stay one night, and ended up staying for four. Having the entire facility to ourselves helped with that decision. La Place was also central to our points of interest, and coming "home" to a warm fire and chilled oysters was... More

My husband and I are very selective about where we stay when we travel to the mainland. Being here felt like being home on the island. Our room had a spectacular view and we could hear the ocean outside - pure tranquility. The house has a fabulous deck with a firepit so we could see the stars at night and... More

Traveled out of state and did tons of research of where to stay. LOVED THIS PLACE!!! Felt very relaxed & secluded. We felt like we were on our second honeymoon. Didn't mind the fact that no breakfast is served (I like to order my own food anyway), found great places to eat close by. Lovely home, great area, didn't want... More

This is a spacious home on the beach that has lots of amenities. The main floor has 4 separate bedrooms and well-stocked kitchen (pots/pans/spices). Great grill. Sauna is wonderful. Hot tub is okay - the pool side is cold and doesn't have the lap feature as motor is broken. Lots of burned out lightbulbs - it just takes a lot... More

A nice view, no heat in April with snow on the surrounding hills and no breakfast. At $129 a night you are invited to cook for yourself as long as you do your own dishes. We enjoyed the view and the sound of the ocean but will stay elsewhere on future trips to the area.

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast. We have stayed at many over the years and found this one to be inferior to the others that we stayed at. The setting is certainly beautiful but it lacks refinement and TRIES unsuccessfully to be first class . The owners seem to be money hungry people and did not... More
