It doesn't get much worse. I may need counseling after this one. To start yes there was spatter on the wall. The carpet is worn. The bedding had black specks in the sheets. There is no cooling for the room, only heat thermostat type system. There is no fan but a cross breeze can be achieved through the front and... More

Great location. Clean room. Very comfortable bed. Pillows too small and squishy. Bathroom is nice but light on amenities such as shampoo. Shower is weak; more of a mist that actual water drops. No hair dryer in room, cask for hair dryer at front desk. Quiet room with windows closed. If room at top of stairs, you will hear people... More

We needed a one night stay after a late ferry arrival from BC and everything for miles was booked for weeks on end. We were able to fill a cancellation at the Royal Victorian in one of the newly redecorated rooms. It had two queens, AC, clean and spacious bathroom. There was a simple continental breakfast in the lobby -... More

I was very happy with the price of this place. It was only 5 blocks from the Ferry. I rented 3 rooms 33 34 35 all rooms are large and clean. KC is a very nice lady. The place was clean. Left our vehicle there for 2 days as we only went over to Victoria for 1 day.

We had 3 wonderful days here at the Royal Victorian. From the very start we treated like family as the owners made us feel so very welcome. They gave great restaurant recommendations and even gave us a packed lunch for our rain forest day trip! KC is amazing, she has such a big kind heart and so much energy her... More

This hotel makes no claims of being luxury and it’s not. It is a basic hotel and good for a stop over if you’re coming off or going on the ferry to Victoria. Breakfast is basic – mostly starch. In addition to the light bulb missing and the towel rack just hanging on, the biggest complaint would be the number... More

The people working the desk were very personable. My husband got about a ½ talk on what to do in Olympia National Park from the lady at the front desk. Check-in was OK, but computers apparently were down. The room, however, needed some help. The bathroom was awful – I wouldn’t even take a show in that stall it was... More

We came here on our way to Victoria and booked just a few days prior, so our options were quite limited at booking. We paid $140/night for what would, in a normally competitive market, charge more on the order of $75. The positives were very nice owner-woman who was very friendly and helpful. She helped us on our check out.... More

Great place to stay for a quick couple of days in Port Angeles. KC at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, calling us over to give is granola bars, waters, and bananas for our daily treks. Room was big and clean with a comfortable bed and big window. Window didn't have screen but didn't notice any bugs coming... More

This place is not unlike the other motor lodges in Port Angeles. Except for KC, the manager. She's the reason this place gets four stars. She's a bit quirky, but you won't find a kinder, more caring hotel manager around. She spent time before we left detailing other sites around the area that we need to come back to explore.... More
