We spent one night in this hotel with 2 other friends before visiting the Butchart gardens. Our friends had visited the place before and were very enthusiastic about it finding it very "funky". When we discovered the building we had some doubts. We got a suite for 4 persons. Our friends spent the night in the biggest bedroom (which looked... More

Stayed here in August on a trip to the Olympic Peninsula. Hotel was just what we were looking for - a comfortable place to stay. We choose a room with the shared bathrooms which are just down the hall from the guest rooms. Our room was quite simple although we were pleased to find a sink and mirror in our... More

We stayed at this hotel during Crab Fest weekend and loved it. The shared bathrooms are spic-and-span, and there's a sink in your room too. We couldn't believe we found such a great, cozy, safe place for only $45. We found the staff really helpful, and were able to store our luggage all day (in a locked room) until we... More

This hotel is not worth the rate. Although apparently clean, the outdated furnishings and smelly carpet made it "feel" dirty. The front desk staff is nonexistent and when available the attendant was rude. Also, the floor with the rooms is very open and with shared bathroom facilities I would not recommend this for any families with children. Especially as there... More

We had a small apartment room facing the marina and loved waking up to seagulls and the sounds of the water. It was cozy and had a lovely atmosphere of a small town inn. The bed was wonderful, as was the decor - simple yet pleasant. The only thing to note - their blinds don't serve their purpose quite as... More

I plan on returning and making this pleasant hotel a base for exploring. I was exhausted when I arrived. There was some confusion about my reservation; but luckily a room was ready. And, it was a charming space, clean with a wide open window to the sea air. A bit funky to look out onto a neighboring roof; but I... More

My family stayed at the Port Angeles Downtown Hotel for one night. The room was very clean and did not have any unpleasant odors at all. We were a bit confused on the entrance to the hotel and parking. Luckily we were there on a Saturday night and parking was not an issue. I was a little skeptical about sharing... More

A good value above a delicious restaurant in downtown Port Angeles. There are many stairs to climb, and free parking behind Chase bank. Traffic noise at night merits ear plugs. Clean, shared washroom facilities. So it turned out to be one of those lovely vacation mornings where I skipped the shower. Sink in the room, so I did shave. So... More

My Hubbie and I were only staying one night in Port Angeles and were looking for a good value. This place is clean, quaint and provides for your needs well. We got a room with a bathroom. Our only complaint was that you could very well hear the other people in their rooms.... Other than that, we really enjoy this... More

The hotel is located one block from the ferry landing to leave for Victoria Canada and within walking distance of lots of nice restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and spotless. We opted for a room with shared bathroom. This was not a problem as there were numerous bathrooms with showers steps away from our room. All were squeaky... More
