Thor Town International Hostel is an independent, family owned lodging business in Port Angeles, WA. We welcome you to consider our hostel as a base for your explorations of the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park or simply as an inexpensive place to spend the night if you are in Port Angeles to board the Coho Ferry to Victoria and Vancouver Island in British Columbia. We have two private rooms and 2 dorm rooms available. We started our hostel in 2000 in a 100 year old house that was showing its age. Over the years, we have renovated the structure from the bottom to the top. Major improvements to the structure include foundation repair and leveling the building, replacement of all the windows, the addition of a front porch and a steel roof. Inside, we have completely rewired the structure and have added a new complete hostel kitchen and 1 ½ bathrooms. Accommodating a small budget and an ultra-green building ethic, most of the remodeling work was done by us using salvaged and reclaimed materials.
