I book the room on-line a few hours before arriving. That went well. I picked this hotel because of price. I was taking the first ferry out to Victoria. The check in went smoothly;however, I didn't get a welcoming experience from the man that checked me in. I got the impression, I was interrupting him. Now for my room experience.... More

Very good, clean, no frills hotel! I slept good every night we were there. The room was cleaned every day. I will stay here again. The hotel was close to downtown and to restaurants. The owner lives on property and keeps the coffee pot filled every morning.

It was the only room available on the coast, so we had no choice, but... There were used wrappers on the bed, there was a dirty footprint, and hair on the pillow, but worst of all, was that even from the front door you could see the filth under the bed. There was dried macaroni, a cap that looked like... More

Stayed here to wait for the morning ferry. Kind of a dodgy looking place from the outside but found the room to be clean and comfortable. No frills. Got there early in the evening and got a room at the back of the motel. No street noise. Gate at the back of the parking lot is closed at night so... More

Cheap, small, clean room with clean towels, sheets, bathroom and floor. Kids liked that the TV had the Disney channel, mom and dad liked the breakfast: frozen french toast and waffles to toast, yummy breakfast sandwiches (egg/sausage/cheese McMuffin-type), plus the usual bread, bagels, pastries, cereals, juice and coffee. I'd stay again!

Check in was ok but not particularly friendly. An ok place to sleep for a night if you are ok with dirt in the corners, in the Windows and leftover from previous visitors. The table in the breakfast room has definitely not been cleaned for many days.

My wife and I stayed here a couple nights in September 2014. This is an older motel that has been well cared for or recently renovated. The rooms are quite small, but spotless and the bed was very comfortable. So, it's definitely nothing fancy, but fairly priced for what you get. Excellent for travelers on a budget. I think our... I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was small but in good shape. I couldn't get the wifi to work, but there was a decent fridge. The bed was comfortable, the owner was nice, and the location was good. It's next to a Walgreens and a good breakfast place. My only notable gripe was that the soap wasn't replaced... More

The check in man was nice- not overly so, just nice. Down hill from there, the lobby and room was filthy. Room floors had not been vacuumed in a while, moldy tub, sticky surfaces. I looked in the breakfast room at nearly 5PM, there was dirty dishes, food left out, ie; sausage sitting on counter was room temp, guessing it went... More

Can't figure out why guest was in the breakfast room at 5pm as it is not open to the guests. First of all food is never left out on the counter tops unless we are in the process of preparing for breakfast. Guest mentioned Breakfast Sanwitches are very popular and over 1500 have been prepared and served to our guests... More

I feel the owner is getting a hard time from someone here. It's not 5 star luxury, you're paying motel prices so expect a motel and you'll do fine. Rooms were clean, bathroom was fine, bit of mildew around the caulking but nothing terrible. Breakfast was decent - cereal, milk, pastries, coffee. Could have done with some bread for toasting....
