I felt this KOA was on its way to becoming a great KOA. The owners are working hard to make this a great place to camp. A few issues I think need addressed are the bathrooms, not enough and it would be better if showers weren't strait across from toilets. 50 amp RV spots are few and tight. Also, seems... More

This KOA was decent, but not nearly as good as some others we've stayed at. They had decent amenities: pool table, table tennis, video games, 3 wheel bikes, LP gas, dump station, camp store, pool, and had decent pull-thru full utilities sites that easily worked for our 30ft RV. The bathrooms and showers seemed clean. The downside was that we... More

Thanks for your feedback! We are in our second year as new owners of the Olympic Peninsula Port Angeles (OPPA) KOA, and are working hard to make this campground the jewel of the Olympic Peninsula. Regarding your remarks about no trees in the full hookup sites, at the overwhelming request of our customers, this spring we removed all of the... More

The owners were very accommodating getting us moved around because our rig was a bit big for some of the sites. We ended up in the deluxe site it was great. They had a great activities for the kids and it was a short drive to Olympic national park. We will stay here again if we are in the area.

We tented and had some nice , well taken care of , shady sites . Had nice , clean bathrooms . Still needs work . Kids didn't like the fact that the hot tub was for adults only but enjoyed pool. Staff was helpful and nice . The downfall was that you could hear traffic from the road.

I was fairly disappointed in this KOA. The pictures on there site shows trees and grass between each site, there was only a small patch of grass. When we used the picnic table our neighbors were so close they almost sat with us. I also didn't like the road noise. Also most of the amenities were in poor work order.... More

We spent the night here because it was close to Port Angeles and we were taking the ferry across to Victoria in the morning. We arrived just as they were closing but they still accommodated us without a reservation. There were very few campers here at this time so it was quiet that way. There was some road noise but... We stopped at this KOA when it was on the verge of closing for the season and found it to be clean, well-organized, and the staff friendly. Though close to US 101, the traffic noise was minimal (unnoticeable during the rain). Very pretty view of the mountains when the rain departed. Next trip, I hope to stay again. The only... More

We enjoyed our stay in a Kabin this fall. The campground is clean if a little close to the highway. The new owners seem wonderful...they were very kind and helpful. Putt Putt was free as they are renovating the course this year and the ice cream social and speed bingo were a big hit with my teenagers. We did a... More

We were in a large group with tents and they put us in tent sites 1-4. Although we requested a quiet area at time of booking, these sites are only about 20 yards from Highway 101, with a (partial) wooden fence that does not block out any road noise. It is really quite awful, with truck and cars roaring through... More

The place was nice and clean like any KOA that I've stayed at. Bathrooms were a bit of a squeeze especially for the size of the campground I was surprised to only find 3 showers in the women's. I felt cramped in the bathrooms and I'm not a big person. Liked the activities that were planned like the hay ride... More
