This is NOT a 5 star hotel. They will not spoil you with amenities and breakfast. Not even shampoo or a/c. What they DO do, is provide a safe, quiet, very clean, comfortable room at an unbelievably low price. Plus, the owners are working there and take pride in their place. This will be go-to place in Port Angeles.

This place is run by a bunch of very nice people who held my late arrival Saturday night sold-out room for me until I arrived, hot, tired and ready to crash. I'm sure they could have sold it five times over at a better price and just said sorry when I got there but they didn't and I am eternally... More

We just wanted a simple, clean place to stay in Port Angeles before we woke up early to go hiking the next morning. I found the Sportsmen online and for $85 (tax included) we got just that. We stayed here for one night in July 2009. Our plan was to take the ferry to Victoria the next morning, so we wanted to be in Port Angeles. We discovered that Port Angeles is extremely expensive (way over-priced for what is there)--most places wanted over $150 a night, the Sportsmen wanted $85 (tax included).
