The g/f and I just spent one night here, as we were catching the Coho back to Victoria next morning. After touring for 3 days in the Puget Sound area, we were ready for a quiet night and good dinner on our last evening. Despite being a huge facility, the Red Lion is not a busy bustling resort. It was... More

Stayed here at least three times in the past, because convenient to Ferry. Last 2 stays were good, but this one left me disappointed because the room smelled like it had not been occupied for months (Stale smell). When taking a shower, the water would not get hot, just luke warm. Spent only the one night, so just passed it... More

I really loved my stay at the Red Lion. I felt welcome and the room was impeccable. I do think the cost could be more appropriate for the location. The only negative experience I had was at the CrabHouse. The food was totally horrible, service was lacking and inconsistent but also dependent upon the poor timing of the kitchen.

The hotel itself is older, and some of the rooms are dated. It is worth it though to have a view of the water. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The attached restaurant has a great breakfast. We had an issue with plumbing and it was fixed quickly. They offered to move us to a different room... More

GREAT LOCATION AND WATER VIEW! The hotel over all is dated but very clean and you can't beat the location or the water view. The people that work there were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Their Restaurant, which has the look of an old fashioned diner, has an early Crabby Breakfast that has a large selection of delicious breakfast items.... More

This hotel is comfortable, though some of the rooms do require going up steps. We had a room with a view of the Straits, and it is worth it to get one. It is nice to have a water view, and you can watch ships on their way to and from Seattle. The restaurant has specially priced breakfasts before 11am,... More

Booked for location and view despite others reviews. No issues. Didn't see staff but didn't need them either. Clean & comfy. Loved the tv and the breakfast which was the best free breakfast we've ever had. Worth the extra few bucks for view room

Front end staff forgot to call us for scheduled wake up call, which made us late for the ferry back to Canada. When I phoned to let the front end know, I got the impression that they did not care. I asked it they had a continental breakfast, (we are now major late and wanted to grab a coffee &... More
