I'm looking at some of the bad reviews of this hotel on tripadvisor and can't believe they are talking about the same place. The place was spotless. The hallways and room smelled fresh. Stayed for only one night on our way to North Carolina but was so impressed with the service. The manager on duty was so helpful. We paid $50 + tax via Priceline for one night at the Residence Inn at Macon. We were extremely impressed with the room. The furniture was very nice, and the layout utilized every inch of space. We felt very comfortable in our Studio/Suite and we even took pictures so we could remember the way it's decorated and maybe get ideas... more

This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in in a very long time. It was not clean. It smelled very bad. The sheets were not fresh. I did not want to step on the carpet. We always enjoy staying at a Residence for the extra space. This was pretty nice but the room needed cleaning. There were spider webs in the bedroom on both the walls and the celings. Make sure they clean your room if you encounter this. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly! more

We stayed here for a short weekend getaway... We were very happy with the hotel overall. It was very clean, nice. Even our 6 year old said, "Wow, it smells good in here!" when we first walked into the room. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The pool was a nice temperature and clean.
