We stayed in one of the Tree Huts and it was very clean, relaxing and private. Room was wonderfully heated for those cold nights. Staff were very helpful. Location was close to all activities in Franz Josef and has a great restaurant on site.

The powered sites here for campervans are great, each tucked into the rainforest. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. I would have scored this place more highly but for the communal facilities for those staying in campervans, they were ok cleanness wise but a bit run down (the toilets weren't bolted down) and there were only two showers and... This retreat has a set up for holiday makers and backpackers. I stayed in a four bed normal dorm. The beds were comfy and there was a little radiator for when it got cold; plenty of plug sockets which is always great as well. The kitchen area for cooking was one of the best I've seen with regards to space... More

Stayed one night as I passed through town. I have been staying in cheap motor home sites for the last week so for and extra $35 I was given some luxury. Stayed in the gecko area and had en suite, big comfy bed, kitchenette and sauna. Only 2 mins up the road from a very good restaurant - although there... More

Stayed in our campervan overnite in a terrific site surrounded by rainforest. Staff were friendly and helpful, amenities were tidy and clean. Spa was large and hot :) but looks a bit aged with cracks in the plastic molding. Internet service was $4 for unlimited data which was good. We didn't use the kitchen but it was large and well... We journeyed around the South Island and this was one of our stops that we loved. Excellent communal eating area that was well used by all. Would recommend to others to stop, stay, listen to the bird life and get out and walk around. Thanks for making this a great memory

Great place. My partner and I stayed here in our camper van. The bays were private and felt like you were in the forest. They also have the bestttt hot showers, weren't overly clean (even after the cleaner just left) but the pressure was great. Big thing when caravaning

Traveling around New Zealand in a camper van we were lucky enough to choose this park to stay a couple of nights . Had a wonderful huge outdoor spa. A lovely restaurant with big open fire where we met lots of other travelers and backpackers during a all you can eat pizza night . Facilities were clean and heated !... More

I had originally booked the $85 room but decided to upgrade as it was a bit ordinary. Would've done for one night but as I was there for 2 I wanted something nicer. The tree huts are lovely. Nice and modern, stylish, decent bathroom, clean, sufficient kitchen to cook your own meals and secluded enough if you want something romantic.... More
