We spent two nights here and enjoyed our stay. The setting was beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. The hotel is well situated in Franz Josef. The restaurant at the hotel has good food and the portion size is decent. We would happily stay here again.

Three of us stayed in Tree hut cottage. The room gave us a warm atmosphere. However, it is rain all day and night until the morning when we were there. Laundry a bit far and not easy to get there while raining. Have to pay 4$ for WiFi that we didn't. A short walk distance about 150-200 m to main... More

The tree house we were staying in was beautiful. There was only 3 of us and we were given a house that houses 6 so we had a choice of bedrooms. Cleaners didn't clean the bathrooms or empty some bins. A visit to the outdoor hot tub was a bit frustrating. I had to remove the covers on the hot... More

A sprawling hotel complex with dorms, motel style cabins, larger suites, and RV camping. The dorms (4-6 bunk beds/ room) are a two-story party mecca for young backpackers that arrive by the bus load. Young adults congregate in the kitchen and the living area with television/ couches/ foosball table. Late night drinking games are guaranteed. The motel style cabins are... More

We stayed overnight at the facility and found it a good place to stay. The room had 2 double beds, kitchenette, and a bathroom. All was very rustic and what I would call mostly clean. There were lots of youthful travelers staying there as well, so expect to see and hear everything. There is a restaurant on site that offers... More

we booked a park motel studio room, and were delighted to discover our room was a free-standing studio tucked way back from the restaurant/bar, in Gecko Village, which had its own private spa! I had requested a quieter room at the time of making the reservation, based on other reviews, and we sure got what we asked for! While the... More

We stayed in a 4 bedroom lodge which was at the end of the road pass the camper vans. It was quiet and we had no neighbours. The lodge was nice and had the bedrooms were two inside and two with separate entry. I liked the fact we wee away from noise and we had our own entry point as... More

My wife and I planned to stay here for the last two nights of our holiday. As it was well booked, we had limited choice of the room. We thought we had booked a motel room which on the web site indicates space and kitchen facilities. You clearly need to be very careful of the room you choose. I do... More

Hi Uberd Many thanks for choosing to stay with us. I am sorry that you werent happy with the room you choose. It is correct that we do have many room types to suit all budgets and needs. The small ensuite double room that you booked is small and the price reflects this. I very much agree with you that... More

We didn't spend a lot of time here but the room was good and met our needs. We had a small double room which was very comfortable but I wouldn't want to stay more than a night or two in it due to size. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Big backpacker groups in that kept to the bar so did... More

Noisy revellers in bar/restaurant until 2am. Should only market to younger folk and backpackers not senior travellers. Also tables in bar sticky, cleared but not wiped. Over priced for what is delivered.
