Our villa was very roomy, with a real homely feel to it. We were given a tour of our villa by one of the very helpful reception staff, who offered us use of a close horse when she knew we were doing the glacier walk. 7 friends stayed for 2 nights in 2 villas......Very clean and comfortable however found it a bit out of the way especially going out for dinner. Also get them to check your room before you depart, when we arrived back in Australia we noticed they had taken an extra $30 off our credit card claiming we had taken their products.... more

Glenfern Villas provide clean, well appointed family self contained accommodation. Not particularly luxurious but nicely set out out and without pretence. The barbeque was a bit of an issue - there is only one shared between the villas. When we asked as to its location, we were directed to the villa that had it last. We had a warm welcome, the unit was very clean and comfortable, with a great bed and excellent bathroom. It was well supplied with everything you'd need for self catering. It was well heated.
