Recently stayed at a B&B room of this property for two nights. The great points are: 1.Excellent location: within minutes' walk the Fox Glacier Heli-hike office where we have booked a tour and close to all the restaurants and grocery shops in Fox Glacier village (1-2min walk). 2. Cozy rooms with the entire property made out of timber. 3. If... More

We stayed here one night in November. The site was quiet and the unit was clean and well kitted out and very well insulated. Once we had understood you had to hold the remote control for the heater near the base of the fire it was fine. Lovely bathroom and the Wi-Fi worked well. The kea birds hung around especially... Service was spot on. The managers went over and above what was required to assist our family in any way! They were all so lovely. The lodge was very quiet and it was set in a beautiful area. Such a lovely holiday spot.

The accommodation itself would have been fine for a night, but the way you get treated at reception by the male owner is the rudest I have ever come across anywhere. Being yelled at etc is just not a very nice greeting for guests. But since the yelling goes on behind the scene as well (as we could clearly hear),... More

The host service is not good, she looks like a cool person without smile. The breakfast is pretty average, the WIFI code doesn't work for us. One more thing the neighbour is pretty noise, playing loud music in the whole afternoon. So it's not good enough and doesn't worth your payment.

We were a group of 4 with a baby. We were on an amazing trip around the South Island. Before we left for the trip, we booked our accommodations and by an accident, we booked this room for two people. This was our fault but as we can imagine, this issue can be resolved. The one couple went in and... More

The rooms are located in front of the caravan parking and have no other views from the room. The manager is a foul looking lady who displays a intense displeasure that you are on a holiday while she is working. Will not recommend if you want any views from your room other than a caravan parking lot. Definitely not worth the... More

We spent 1 night and loved it, better than all other hotels we saw in the area: the large family room with a separate bed for the kids, the elegant decoration, nice fabrics, advice for the trips to the Glacier and a few other trails, kindness altogether.

After a full day of travelling and exploring our way down from Greymouth, we were warmly welcomed on arrival. We stayed in one of the self contained units. It was amazing, beautiful new room, comfortable bed and more than adequate heating. The thing I rate the most in accommodation is the bathroom. The bathroom is second to none, great shower... More

This was the best place we stayed in 16 days our touring the north and south islands. We'd booked a really beautifully appointed family suite - spacious, quiet, warmly cosy and very clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom excellent, the compact kitchen had everything we needed and fresh flowers were a lovely touch, and Deborah was a charming and... More
