Stayed one night at the Westhaven. It is overpriced in our opinion. Reason for staying here would only be the proximity to the glaciers. The rooms were clean but did not lend themselves to self catering as there was the bare minimum of facilities. The internet was free but very slow.

This poor review reflects mainly on two things: 1. poor attitude and respect from front desk, and 2. claiming free internet which is a lie. I will also critique the cleanliness and overall feel. Ideally situated in Fox Glacier, convenient for touring the area and handy for bars/restaurants. We stayed here for one night and were very very pleased with our choice.The room was large, modern ,up to date very clean, plenty of facilities. The beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet. We found the staff extremely frienly and helpful.
