We've stayed at the Watsons Way for four nights with our little Baby and we all loved it. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living area, and all facilities (BBQ/Safari Bath...) are all exceptionally clean. We would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice stay in Renwick-very close to the Wineries. Thanks to Pat&Paul: you made our stay perfect.... More

This place is a real gem, run by a lovely family. Its at the vert heart of the wine region and Renwick is a smaller, nicer place to stay then Blenheim. You can hire bikes here at a discount price and wander around the vineyards. There is a handy supermarket, pub and fish shop very close by. We loved our... More

What a glorious find. This lodge and backpackers should definitely have boutique in the title, as its truly a hidden gem. The owners have a bunk room, twins, doubles, ensuites, space for a few tents and for two vans/camping cars. There's a shared kitchen with great facilities and lots of utensils. The dining room and lounge is also really cosy... More

The owners are very friendly and helpful and are clearly proud of their facilities. The location couldn't be better and everything is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the grounds nicely cared for. Bicycles with panniers can be rented for a modest fee. Along with the bicycles, comes a map of the wineries and excellent advice regarding your... More

We were fortunate to get a double room for 1 night and then got bike hire for the day ($18 each). The rooms were clean, well furnished and nicely decorated. The bikes were in good condition and we were given a good run through of the local cellar doors by the owner on a map - very useful to pick... More

We only rented bikes but had a wonderful experience with the couple who own it. They have great recommendations for wineries to visit while on the bike tour. The couple were very gracious and helpful with other recommendations in the area as well.

A lovely comfortable well equipped place to stay. The hosts made us feel really welcome and at home. We were also able to to hire bikes there which we used to tour around the vineyards. My friend and I were in one of the small cabin rooms which was stunning and cozy. We also took full advantage of the well... More

This is the second visit to Watson's Way. The first when is was configured as a backpackers facility and in August this year in its new set up as an AirB&B. Paul and Pat are hosts par excellence, attentive and knowledgeable about the area and various wineries. The bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas and the gardens always immaculate, clean and well... The owners are lovely here, and sorted us out perfectly for our wine touring around the Renwick/Marlborough region with bikes, helmets, carry bags and a map of all the wineries. The kitchen here is great and we loved our room too! Quite sociable with kitchen and living room all together in a big room.

Where should I begin? With the extraordinary caring couple running this place? I'm talking about a big , very clean kitchen which is well equipped and has two big gas-stoves (my favorite) and even a dishwasher! Or what about the rooms? Well I just can judge one of the dorms but boy was this clean and tidy and for the... More
