Korimako is located in a beautiful and peaceful valley, where the views are stunning whether it's rainy, sunny or cloudy. The lodge is wonderfully secluded and tucked into a hillside, making it very quiet and tranquil. Steve and Wendy are great hosts and excellent company, as are furry friends Oscar and Shadow who were only too happy to take us... More

The location of the lodge is splendid for outdoor activities in the surrounding areas. The lodge is in a quiet area at the almost end of the valley lovely situated on the hill slopes. Kea and other birds can be seen in the forest and hilsites. The food made by the lodge owners is very good and made of local... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Korimako Lodge. We stayed here on route from Blenheim to Queenstown on our honeymoon. Steve and Wendy Wood were very welcoming and sociable and made sure we were very well looked after. The dinner we had was delicious - I was very impressed. The peace and beauty of the area was incredible and provided... More

We enjoyed two nights in a spacious, comfortable room. Wendy and Steve were very attentive and helped provide tips for walks in the local area. The meals were excellent and the wine too. Ideal location for nature lovers and travellers who prefer a quiet retreat. Would love to stay again! More

Surrounded by nature, we spent a restful night at Korimako Lodge, which offers a quiet and romatic environment. The hosts are very nice and caring, the rooms neat, the views astonishing... The best night of our whole trip. More

We had a great stay with Wendy and Steve Wood at Korimako Lodge. One of the highlights was a special dinner prepared by Wendy for our wedding anniversary. Dinner was served out on the upstairs deck with spectacular mountain views down into Murchison. I'd caught a trout that day and Steve had prepared it in the smoker - absolutely divine.... More

We had an overnight stay here at this B&B. Steve and Wendy were very gracious hosts and did everything to make our stay as an enjoyable as possible. The views from the balcony of our beautifully appointed bedroom were truly breathtaking. And we did enjoy having our evening meal cooked by Wendy - that was a bonus! We thoroughly recommend... More

During our second stay at Korimako Lodge we celebrated Hans' 60th birthday together with our nearest friends which we had invited to stay in the lodge, too. Our hosts, Steve and Wendy, had organized a beautiful dinner party with outstanding wining and dining. We've fallen in love with this part of New Zealand because of its magnificent countryside, fishing-hunting and... More

Two wonderful nights including New Year's Eve. Wendy and Steve were excellent and well-informed hosts, great meals made from homegrown and locally sourced produce accompanied by the best NZ wine we encountered on our trip. Walk to the river was enhanced by Oscar the black lab's company. The house is beautifully located with fabulous views. We chose to stop here... More
