The accommodation is over priced They have 3 different kind or rooms Only the suit has the private bathroom and ok size , no AC so the only way to get some air it's to open the window The lounge it's ok definitely you don't want to spend few nights here But only one just to have sleep over

Beautiful room - very happy with both the price and the easy access to parking and warkworth shops Close to Matakana and the awesome market Even thou near the passing highway, noise is not a problem. It is walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful and friendly

We were lucky enough to get one of the upgraded rooms here, with exterior access to a sitting area on a patio. Very well appointed room with comfortable bed. While it is near the passing highway, noise is not a problem. It is walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff provided many good tips on what to see in... More

We used this as a stopover to break our trip up North and we could take our small dog. Used Lodge on way up and way back motel rooms are small but adequate, very handy to town. However stay on way back was not good as we had very loud people upstairs above our unit they seemed to walk around... More

We needed a quick night stop when traveling to the Bay of Islands from Taupo. Warkworth is a pleasant little town with some good places to eat and Warkworth Lodge is a decent place to spend the night. It's a short walk from the main part of town. Our unit was a little on the small side but had a... More

This was a reasonably priced lodge for 9 of us to get away for the weekend. We had the use of the lodge kitchen to self cater. Bedrooms were comfortable. Cleaning was a bit haphazard with the shared bathroom running out of soap early on in the weekend and hand towel not being changed. Owners very obliging with information about... More

thank you for your detailed review. we have made changes accordingly to this valuable feedback and ensure the dish powder, brushes etc are kept socked up. We have found the room to be quite cozy in the past with the room north facing, spare blankets, heat pump & heaters in the room, but will ensure keep an eye on this... More

Very friendly, helpful owners. We were in the family unit. It was cold but we got extra blankets no problem and used the heat pump for second night. Thought shower could be cleaner as there was mould and the dish brush had seen better days so used dish cloth. There was a dishwasher but no powder and I forgot to ask... More

This is a great place to stop over if you are heading south. We stopped here because of the fairly close proxcimity to Gulf Harbour where we were catching the ferry to Tiritiri Matangi island. The lodge is located in town and only steps from bars, restaurants and grocery.
