DOC Rawara Beach Campsite is a normal campground with cold showers and long drop toilets. The surrounding nature around makes it an unbelievable magical place. Rawara Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen all my life. If you enjoy to be in the nature and you do not mind to be on your own, this is... More

Typical DOC camp and that's the key. It is meant to be ( and IS ) a basic place to camp for a few nights close to a lovely beach. 15 minute drive to the closest shops. Long drop and flush toilets. Outdoor cold showers to use too. A nice place to camp between the beach ( short walk )... More

We stayed at this campsite for 3 nights while in the Far North and found it to be a great base for exploring everything the area has to offer. It is a little bit out of the way with a 4km unsealed road linking it to the main road but this is also a reason why it is so great.... More
