This B&B is excellent. Unlike many of the motel/hotel accommodation in Kaitaia it is not on the main street. Just a very short distance from the town centre it is very quiet as well as being set on a nice size block of land. We planned to stay one night but enjoyed it so much we stayed two nights when... You are up in the north to start your New Zealand journey? This is a great place to stay. The host is very friendly and the our room (half garden/half poolside) was really nice, clean and spacious. For guest comfort they provide a bit more than the usual toileteries. The sleep quality was excellent as is was located in a... More

The room was incredibly comfortable, very well cleaned (much better than the NZ standard), had a great TV and a good bathroom. The location was easy to find through Google Maps, although it is hidden a bit at the end of a street. The pool was huge and very-well maintained. Breakfast was cooked up to a very high standard to... More

We arrived after a scenic route drive from Auckland to here as a stop for driving up to Cape reinga. And this place is perfect for it. Private parking if you are Road tripping, the location is off the main road so nice and peaceful. And the atmosphere causes you to rest. Alastair the owner made us feel welcome even... More

We stayed here on the first night of a four-day road trip around Northland. After a long drive it was a great place to stop for the night. Alistair the owner was very accommodating of our need to check-in late which was very good of him, and he was still very welcoming and full of conversation when we finally made... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night. It was fairly easy to find, but definitely keep a lookout for the sign as it is at the end of a cul de sac. Alastair, our host, was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the small room with a double bed to the left of the main entrance. There... More

The room itself is well appointed and modern. The cooked breakfast was good. The host was an interesting forthright guy. I maybe wouldn't listen to everything he says. He did recommend a restaurant which did have a lovely view but the food there wasn't great value.

Fantastic accommodation, very spacious, modern and clean, set in lovely gardens. Alastair is an excellent host and provided a good cooked breakfast and entertaining conversation. The B&B is tucked away in a cul de sac away from the main street. It was excellent value for money and even had a small swimming pool which we unfortunately did not have time... More

Tucked away in a residential area with parking on the owners' drive, this B&B is a super place to rest your head. Your hosts are marvellous and can give useful tips on the local sights and sounds. There is Sky TV in the room. The pièce de resistance is the breakfast. Honey smoked bacon, delicious creamy scrambled eggs and by... More

Wonderful accommodation, nice size rooms with big high ceilings adding to sense of spaciousness. Good modern shower. But best of all the superb friendly hosts - and a lovely home cooked breakst at 7am was the perfect start the day. Thanks guys.
