Great value stay if you can score a weekend package which includes dinner at fabulous restaurant, kayaks, bikes and everything you need. Nestled into a bush setting minutes from Huskisson, this is a perfect getaway. Tents were beautifully appointed and somehow remained insect free. Comfortable beds, decor, lighting and ambience. Definitely grab a canoe and explore the river; borrow a... More

Beautiful retreat deep in the forest set on the bank of a (fairly dirty) river. The staff were all extremely friendly, and the room was luxurious for a tent! Canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards are all free to use, which was fun, though much nicer water down the road at the beaches. Be warned, the tents have no... More

It was just an extremely peaceful get away. Not everything went perfect but the difference was the staff genuinely made an effort to look after you. A lot of places could learn from the positive attitude Paperbark have.

Paperbark Camp is a hidden gem in Jervis Bay and a rare concept in Australia which takes after Luxury African Safari lodges. Went there for a long weekend this weekend. Tent: extremely clean luxurious design with all the creature comforts whilst still maintaining a feeling of roughing it out 'Glamping'. Semi outdoor bathroom with 2 person bath tub a must!... More

My wife and I stayed here last weekend, as a treat for our first anniversary. On the whole, it is a unique place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to others. However, there are a couple of niggles which mean that, whilst good, it's not fantastic. + The location and set-up is fantastic. It's a secluded camp set... More

This reminded me of trips to Africa where I stayed in some lovely tented safari lodges - Paperbark was wonderful and right up there with the African lodges I mentioned. Really romantic too, especially sitting out on the porch in the evening drinking wine & eating cheese, we even has a visit from some possums! The main restaurant area has... More

So we arrived late in the afternoon, nice place. Reception is in he restaurant which is ok as that building is the only one with power Checked in all good shown to our tent which is large with plenty of room. The outdoor bathroom and shower really cool liked it. Tents are relatively private and well spread and the bed... More

Our family of four have just returned from 3 nights at Paper Bark Camp. This was the final weekend of the season and the site is now closed until September. The details of the safari tents and facilities are accurately described in the publicity. Our tents were clean, tidy and well equipped with toiletries, insect repellant sprays and coils as... More

Had a lovely long weekend here recently. I took my partner on a surprise weekend, he had no idea where we were going and what we were doing. All I told him was what to pack (and made it out we were properly camping, he was very shocked when we got there). I called to let staff know and they... More

Paperbark camp must be as near to perfection as possible. We were warmly greeted on arrival. Shown to our "tent" and given a run through of all the amenities. We chilled out on our private balcony enjoying the solitude & peace. Ultra comfortable bed with luxurious linen guaranteed a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious. Best granola ever, fresh fruit... More
