A unique bush land setting and concept. This Property is certainly different hence it's unique charm and experience. If brief it is an elevated beautiful tent in the middle of a bush land setting ie as we were told on arrival, it is a swamp. This brings the issue of mosquitoes. All tent doors and flaps must be closed to... More

We spent 3 nights at Paperbark Camp and enjoyed every moment - even though it rained continuously for the whole time. The drive there from Sydney was very easy. We spotted a lot of wildlife and I haven't seen the Australian bush so green. Just beautiful. The check in was very welcoming in the seperate main house - where breakfast... More

From the moment we turn off the main highway onto a weather beaten track among towering native trees, its clear that we are truly getting back to nature. Fortunately, at the end of that track, is an amazing restaurant (The Gunyah), a great team of people to look after us and individual tent "suites" to collapse into at the end... More

This trip was a birthday surprise but when we turned into the long , dirt track my chest tightened a bit.....the word 'camp' suddenly threatened to turn a predicted romantic escape into an Indiana Jones fiasco! As we pulled in front of the main building and restaurant- a structure nestled sympathetically into a forest of aged paperbarks which towered beside... More

My husband and I went with a friend for two nights having never tried the glam end of camping before. The area is very beautiful and Paperbark is hidden away down a long drive. We found the staff on the desk to be enormously friendly and helpful. We had a de luxe tent (Kookaburra) which was much larger than I... More

We just had one night at the Paperbark camp.....one night is simply not enough. From the moment I rang to enquire until we left the staff were excellent. Liam was great and very helpful, remembered our names, just added the personal touch. Walked us to our tent, showed us around, we felt very at home. A bottle of champagne on... More

This is posh camping. We stayed in the deluxe tent which had a bath as well as shower. The whole experience is very relaxed and certainly unique. Waking up to kangaroos outside your tent, dining with possums and going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the kookaburra. Food for dinner is excellent, the whole staff are extremely... More

The Paperbark Camp was the venue for a dual Golden Wedding celebration for our family and our son-in- laws parents, as the parents of both of these families were celebrating 50 years of marriage. We had a two night package, and had all our children for the dinner Saturday evening. The food and service was exemplary, and the attendance by... More

This place has everything you could ever ask for in a glamping situation. Luxurious camping at its best! Great tents, great food, lovely surroundings... We stayed in the King Fisher deluxe tent, which is furthest away from the main building (the Gunyah, which houses the restaurant and reception) of the tents. It was very private and secluded, and we could... More

Paperbark Camp is unlike any other. I had been counting the days down to go here and I was NOT disappointed. It was pretty much the most incredible place I've ever stayed and I can not wait to return. We booked the deluxe tent and it truly was such a lovely experience. My only regret is we didn't book for... More
