Be it a family or couples trip or simply a trip on your own Napo Wildlife Center is an amazing place to visit for an amazonian adventure. Not only do the guides know their stuff, but they seem to be as exited as you are to both see the animals and tell you about them. The actual Ecolodge is like... More

If your imagination runs away with you this place will come up to your expectations. You are deep in the jungle with only canoes for transport. The lodge is set beside a lagoon where giant river otters, caymans and herons search for fish while you watch from a terrace, or far more excitingly you board a canoe and take off... More

We couldn't have chosen better! The lodge is excellent, the meals are superb, the staff is making a perfect job, the site in the middle of the Yasuni NP with its great views over the lake is extraordinary, the encounter with all the wildlife simply spectacular! And last but not least ... thank you so much to Jairo and Fabián... More

My daughter and I recently visited the Napo Wildlife Center on a tributary of the Napo River which is part of the Amazon basin. We chose this lodge because it is in the Yassuni National Park and is owned and run by the Kichua people. After traveling down the Napo River on a motorized boat from Coca, we transferred to... We greatly appreciate your suggestions, to find ourselves in a primary forest reserve, it is necessary to preserve the biological biodiversity, which configures a landscape of lush beauty. Best Regards NWC. More

This is the most luxurious ecolodge we have ever visited. Yet everything fit beautifully into the environment. Recycled water treatment, solor generators, excellent staff and guides, wonderful food and the amazing Amazaon. In five days we saw maybe five moscos - that's truly awesome! This community owned and run lodge uses its proceeds to give free medical and schooling to... More

At the Napo Wildlife Center, we were surrounded at all moments and in all directions by the stunning beauty of the Amazon rainforest. The remote location of the lodge enhanced the experience, and the canoe ride from the Rio Napo was an enjoyable trip in and of itself. Wildlife abounded -- in the streams, in the rainforest, and at the... More

Be warned this place is a long trip into the jungle - and worth every bit of the effort! From Quito you fly to Coca, then a 2 hour motorized canoe ride and then an amazing 2 hour hand-paddled canoe ride to the lodge. The lodge is clean, extremely well run, and in a magnificent setting in the Amazon basin.... More

When planning our trip, I had to decide between Brazil, Peru and Ecuador for our Amazon rainforest expedition. I’m really glad I chose Ecuador. And more importantly, Napo Wildlife Center was an excellent experience. One thing to consider is that Napo is on land that is owned by the local community of indigenous people. Most of the staff is from... More

We spent a lot of time reading reviews before choosing Napo--and all the reasons quoted by others were completely accurate such as great staff, the feeling of a hard working community proud of their project, outstanding guides and lovely location but we missed reading what may be one of the prime facts. One of main decisions was to preserve the... More
