My husband and I are avid travelers and have traveled to the Peruvian Amazon, where we were dismayed at how disturbed the environment was. We have been to a lot of countries' jungles, but none compare to the jungle experience at Yasuni. There are two other lodges in the region that offer eco-tourism (like La Selva) but we passed these... More

This is probably the best place I have ever been to, the food amazing accomodation second to none, the people ditto, The enviroment and trips again ditto. A trip of a lifetime. This was a stop off after a Galapagos diving holiday. We cane for an adventure and getting to the Napa Village ws an adventure in itself, sea plane-canoe-trek-canoe.

During May 2014 my wife and I visited the Napo Wildlife Center. It is very remote: After a 45 minute flight from Quito to the Jungle town of Coca, the Napo Center representative met us at the airport, with a bus, and staff that helped mark, number and load the bags to an auxiliary van. The Napo Representatives were very... More

Totally loved this place, started from when we decanted from moto canoe to paddled one takes about 1-2 hrs to get to lodge from this point, but we took longer as so much wild life to see, giant otters and anaconda personally I was in heaven. My room was lovely, and way better than I expected as everything is paddled... More

The food was very good, the staff friendly and efficient, the guides knowledgeable and great at spotting wildlife (the most important part of the trip). Our guides were - Dany (bi-lingual guide) Vladimir (local guide) Antonio (paddler) - all of them were superb. However, a major disappointment with Napo was that we had not been pre-advised of the noisy building work... More

An absolutely fantastic lodge in the middle of the Amazon River Basin. It's a owned and operated by the local Qichwa (sp?) community - a good model of community conservation providing an economic option to oil and gas extraction. A couple days of paddling around the lagoon and tributaries and climbing the canopy bird watch, and my wife and I... More

Add this place to your bucket list. I have nothing but praise for this place. We stayed on 4night-5day package. All the activities were awesome. We saw heaps of animals, highlighted for me by 8M anaconda. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. This place is in the middle of the jungle and the level of service and room set... More

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Napo Ecolodge and highly recommend the lodge and the complete experience. The naturalist Delfin was superb and made the adventure even better. He showed us birds, mammals, other animals, vegetation and flowers in the national park and around the lake. He is enthusiastic and is an expert at explaining the environment and... More

Napo wildlife lodge was quite easily one of the best places that we have ever been. We went on many canoe and walking trips and saw so many different animals. Our bi lingual guide, native guide and paddler for our canoe were all fantastic. Our room overlooked the lake and we could see hoatzins from our verandah. The food was... More

My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and I spent 5 days earlier this month at the Napo Wildlife Lodge. It was an incredible place, and as the memories of our time there stay with us, I can legitimately call Napo one of those "trips of a lifetime". Almost everything about the experience was outstanding. I planned our trip, and we initially compared... More
