This was a wonderful place to stay and if you have a large group you can rent an entire house to yourself. We paid $8 a person for a 4 bedroom, two bathroom, and two balcony house in the middle of Mindo. They can also help with tours and general information in Mindo.

Found this a great place to stay, it is very comfortable, and only cost us $9 per person per night! The staff are friendly and have a lot of information on the activities around Mindo. Just remember to bring bug spray or you'll get eaten alive by the Mosquitos!

9$ a night for a "dorm" which really was 4 full beds! Nice break from bunks and hoards of people. I was lucky enough to have the place to myself. Didn't have breakfast here but the prices were cheap and looked tasty from my window. Yes the window! Grey views of the street the river the trees the birds. So... More

We stayed 2 nights. The double room we had was lovely. Clean with own bathroom and sound of the river. The hostel is peaceful and pretty. The river is lovely and the hummingbirds come close so you cab watch then. Showers are hot with good water pressure and the breakfast is great. The best place to eat in town is... More

Positives: This was a great place to stay in Mindo. The setting couldn't be better, right next to the river with hummingbirds everywhere. They also had some gorgeous dogs and a little kitten. The cabin we stayed in had a nice terrace area to relax in. They do a good breakfast for a decent price and our close to a... More

Casa de Cecilia is located steps from town in a shady, cool property by a flowing river. Very tranquil. The breakfasts for $3 are great value and the rooms with shared baths are $10. These rooms are barely separate from one another with little soundproofing between - more like a partitioned dorm. If you require more privacy best to opt... More

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the surroundings of Mindo and the calm Mindo, but the service of the staff is not good, we didnt see them much at all so we had to do it all by ourselfs.

I have been in this place a couple of times. This place is nice, it made me feel like in home. Staff is very friendly and responsible. The rooms are small and clean ( you will spend all the day walking and having fun ... You don't need a big room ). They provide different kind of breakfast ... And... More

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our three nights stay here. We had a double room with private bathroom which was spacious with a really comfortable bed. We stayed in the New building on the upper Floor. The building was surrounded by cloud forest and we were able to observe all kind of birds right from our room. And at... More

This is sort of a laid back place that caters to backpackers and others. Some of the rooms are kind of quirky, but they're clean, affordable and close to the center of town. It's right on the Mindo River, so there's a place you can go down by the water. Pretty location. In the building we were in, the rooms... More
