I planned on 1-2 nights and stayed 3. It is very peaceful and quiet in a beautiful setting. The owners (David and his wife) are so nice and friendly, all about making your stay pleasant. They are very helpful in providing a map and pointing out the highlights. It's about a 10 minute stroll via a dirt road to town... More

We found that October seemed to be a slow month for tourism in Ecuador, and as a result we were one of just two guests during our stay here. But that had no bearing on the helpfulness and attentiveness of the young owners, who were immensely helpful and gracious during our stay. Rooms were clean and well appointed, basic but... More

This inn was built and run by a younger couple, and it could not be nicer! Many of the other reviews complained about the construction and lack of attention; however, we found that it is now complete except for one room over the main building, and David, the owner, was very helpful to us. The room was beautiful, the bathroom... More

This is a really beautiful place. The owner is so friendly and helpful. She wanted our best all the time. It is a 10 minute walk from the mainstreet but it is worth it. Our room were very good with big windows so you can look at the nature all the time. And when it was time to sleep you... More

We spend to nights at this hosteria, no indication of the whereabouts when you arrive in Mindo, apparently something to do with the authorities, nevertheless we manage to find it, located a bit on the outskirts of the town, really nice garden, lots of exotic plants, free breakfast, free secured parking, free wi-fi in the common area, rooms are clean,... I stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the place. I had a large room with a really comfortable bed and nice bathroom with hot water. The place was quiet (although a bit of construction happening during the day which didn't bother me). My room was upstairs and I could sit on the deck and watch hummingbirds coming right... More

It was surrounded by a nice garden. It is a quiet place when the owner is not listening to its music in the garden. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was small. It was hard to aerate and it was smelling humidity a lot. The place is hard to find since it is situated in a... More

Our room was lovely, very clean with room service each day if you wanted, good shower with hot water, comfy beds, although the room was a tiny bit small for 3 adults to stay in. The breakfast was great and the location lovely (although it is a short walk down a country road from the centre of town - take... More

The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very filling. Coffee was excellent with eggs sandwich with cheese and ham. Fruit cup to die for and fruit juice (very thick). The service was extraordinary. They were very friendly and informative. (what a relief). My wife and I had a very enjoyable time while we were there. We stayed in the Hosteria for three nights and loved our time there. It was only a short walk from town but far enough away that they offer a tranquil setting with views towards the mountains. The rooms are around a lovely garden with fruit trees and hummingbirds fluttering about. The breakfast was great, and included a good coffee, fruit,... More
