Mindo was our first stop on our Ecudorean adventure! Danny and his family were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. He gave us a full run down of all of the great activities in the area; tubing down the Mindo River, the Frog Concert, Butterfly viewing, trekking and canopying. I stayed 2 nights at Samay Juku and was very pleasantly surprised. Where to begin? In no special order: a very cordial welcome by Danny, clean bright rooms with private bathroom, a good stiff mattress, a great breakfast each day, music, a pool filled with warm water, sofas in the general areas, and much more. I went to the little town of Mindo, which is 2 hours outside of Quito, Ecuador with some other students, and we had a blast!
