Ingo was a great host. any and all needs were promptly addressed. Every aspect of our stay there was excellent; from the host to the room to the meals. Highly recommend the Dragonfly Inn to anyone going to Mindo. P.S. Buy the honey, my only regret is I didn't buy more.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed a few meals and many games of cards in the cafe. Ingo was a joy to speak with - it was fun to hear his observations on Ecuador. The food was delicious. Breakfast (that comes with your stay) was filling and helped us keep our energy for our rainforest hikes. The room was... More

The innkeepers were great, the food was wonderful, the room was very nice and had a view of the river. The innkeeper gave great advice in finding other things to do while in the area and helped arrange transportation.

The best part of this place was the food. We had a fantastic breakfast... simply fantastic! We also ate dinner here and it was great. It was probably worth it all just for this. Mindo is an interesting town and I would guess this is one of the nicer hotels. That being said, there wasn't any air conditioning, which wasn't... More

Sometimes i do not know if i should cry or laugh!. This couple and their baby booked through booking. com. on that website it states rather glass-clear: 1. no air conditioning 2. check in 6pm - if later please let us know so what is the problem? Well, maybe you should have stayed somewhere else where there is ac -... More

Lovey Mindo has a lot of hotel options. This hotel is on the main street as you come into town and on the river. The good side of this is it is easy to access from the public bus and easy to find, but there is street noise during the day and early evening. But the river drowns much of... More

It was a great location right in the center of town and easy walk from the bus terminal. The owners are nice and helpful and speak English. The food was good and I enjoyed the breakfasts every morning. The rooms could use better lighting as I found the lights not bright enough. Also a bit of a pain having to... More

My wife and I would stay here again in a heartbeat simply because of Ingo, the host. We were spending several days in Mindo for our honeymoon, and we had the good fortune of booking the Dragonfly Inn for our stay. Ingo greeted us upon entry, and immediately asked what we wanted to do in town and then made a... More

Very attractive area downstairs which is nice to spend time in. The outdoor area next to the hummingbird feeders is particularly nice. Which is just as well as the wifi does not seem to work upstairs in the room ! I stayed on the top floor which was cozy but maybe a bit cramped but was certainly adequate for my... More

Don't believe the description. We found Used tampons in "clean" room, bathrooms caked in mold, stains on bedsheets. The owner is abrasive and hard to talk to with out either being arrogant or short tempered. There are nicer places to stay in Mindo, don't waste your time with this one.

TA is a dangerous website. everybody can go on here leaving a reference having had a experience or not. here the truth: they stayed for three nights and have not complained to me once. nevertheless, at the end they have said they only stayed because they did not want to move anywhere else and they would like to have a... The place looks great on the outside, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere to it and the rooms are good and clean. Nothing special though. The shower was the best I had in Ecuador. Breakfast was very tasteful. A nice place to stay.
